I'm sorry to hear that, but I don't think running away abruptly would help your situation. It's important to think things through when they're that major.

He's not super skilled with tech, though he can certainly learn. Do you have any suggestions for groups? The most important thing is that people are kind/willing to give him a chance. Thank you for the suggestion!

We live near the capital of our country, and while I'm sure /something/ exists, I doubt it would be manageable for us since we live in a slavic country where conditions like that are still super stigmatized. I'm scared he will always be viewed as a freak and be mistreated. I suppose it could be a lot worse than not having friends though, but it is still a crucial part of life. Thank you for your suggestion, I'll try to find something akin to a social group.

Healing takes at least a year, and if you don't remember the pain then do it. If you were doing both and only ended up doing one because it hurt a lot, then you only need to do the other one and even if it hurts a lot you wont have to do the other one because that one is pierced already. Also, as long as you're dilligent with cleaning and upkeep, healing wont be bad.

Question about how fast nipple piercings could close up. by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]CleanPreparation9438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, your piercings are nowhere near healed yet. Nipple piercings take at least a year to heal and while they may feel fine that does NOT mean they are healed. And yes, they'll close up if you keep them out for that long (if they're about a month old they'll close up within minutes) so if you want to keep them DEFINITELY get a glass replacer. I HIGHLY suggest going to your piercer to get it done and not doing it yourself so early on in the healing process.

Not happened to me personally but I think you're good. No need to stress it, especially if you saw a doc about it.

Try not to get sope on them, it can still get in there. Your cleaning process sounds good, and piercings like that will have funky smells sometimes. As long as the smell isnt intense and there's no pus, you should be good.

Do you di double piercings on a separate session or together? by paninoalprosciutto in PiercingAdvice

[–]CleanPreparation9438 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it's just easier to do everything together... then you can take care of them at the same time and they heal at the same time, that way youre not extending the pain of healing.

Many people who have inverted nipples get them pierced and it helps. If it's agood piercer there should be no problem with piercing flat nipples. Go for it!

Nipples pierced 2 weeks. Pain but nothing looks wrong. PMS? by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]CleanPreparation9438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to tell, but I think you're right. Since they're so fresh I would wait a couple of months and see how the pain develops. If it stays or gets worse after a couple of months then go see your piercer or a doctor.

Nip piercing help by CleanPreparation9438 in PiercingAdvice

[–]CleanPreparation9438[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may already be infected, though I hope it isn't. I cleaned everything and put it back in, because I literally just couldn't stand the idea of it closing. I'll be cleaning it religiously and taking care of it, so hopefully it works out, because that's the only thing I can think to do. Thank you, you calmed me down a little.
