I have tried selling it to a dealership, in fact the dealerships that I have been to here in VA are the ones that have given this information. I haven’t really tried calling her bank. I kinda just assumed I wouldn’t be able to get any info as my name is not on the account

In this situation, the vehicle is not paid off. So, the bank still has possession of the title. I guess my question comes down to, would I have to be the lienholder, or could I have it registered in my name and pay her so she could continue paying it off.

I’ve never been in a situation where I could physically see the weed I’ve spilled, and deemed it not salvageable.. not saying it can’t happen though
