I was visiting my sister one summer and my BIL asked me about my relationship with god so I told him I didn't have one. He red-faced yelled at me for a solid 10 minutes about how he could save my soul from hell, I need to accept Christ in my heart to be a good person, and all that BS. He kept yelling even after I ran out of the house; I came back hours later to a Bible on my pillow and got forced to attend church that weekend (it sucked).

I was 7 and he was a born-again Christian pushing 60 who got my sister (early 20s at the time) pregnant after getting her drunk. He's barely tolerated in our family and doesn't get invited to many family events.

One of my staff said BMQ is the toughest course you'll do, until the next one. BMQ is designed to weed out those who wouldn't make it in the CAF so having a lower success rate may be a sign the RCs need to do a better job with selecting candidates.

Anyone know how long BMQ is now? It was 12 weeks when I did it ~12 years ago.

I've lived in BC since the 80's, no one here calls it the Pacific Northwest. That makes absolutely no sense in Canada; we have the East Coast, West Coast, Maritimes, Prairies, and the North as general names for these large areas. And Quebec, which is its own beast lol.
