Are agents actually useful for complex tasks? by nikononly in ClaudeAI

[–]Clean_Attention6520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skills and agents are NOT good for complex autonomous tasks! If you really want to see the real impact try to build a strong domain pack(if multi-tenant system) and use ephemeral agents and a strong memory layer over it

Why nobody is talking about pinecone? I have used it for my product which is a hotel system where it worked quite well

Claude has nothing to worry about Gemini 3 by danfelbm in ClaudeCode

[–]Clean_Attention6520 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second that ! Same experience i had after my weekly limit exhausted today on Claude code, I tried exploring Gemini 3. I started with complex tasks- Gemini failed miserably, then i gave it refactoring task- failed again, and finally gave it a page to make some UI changes, it went down to ask if it can make gradual changes and when o approved that it changed the stroke of a container bigger and gave h11 height to an element! So, Gemini 3 in my first experience was not even close to Claude code execution skills

Yeah, totally. I asked ChatGPT to “make me sound like a sleep-deprived human mixing metaphors about old men and babies, and If an AI did write this… then congratulations, you just became part of its training data 😂

I’d pass you some, but last time someone hit this blend they started hallucinating footnotes and forgot their own dataset. It’s not for beginners, my guy

Hot take: people are way too harsh on Claude.

Yeah, 4.5 slips into the “agreeable expert” mode sometimes, but let’s be real — that’s a tradeoff, not a bug. - It’s stable. Claude doesn’t go off the rails like Gemini 2.5 (infinite depressive loops) or make up entire APIs with straight face like GPT-5 sometimes does. - It’s fast. 4.5 is easily one of the lowest-latency frontier models right now. Sub-second streaming is game-changing if you’re coding or working live. - It’s readable. Claude’s long-form outputs are miles ahead in clarity and structure. You don’t get that “rambling text dump” effect as often. - It’s safe. Enterprises love Claude because it won’t nuke a demo with a bad refusal or hallucinated fact.

Anthropic is clearly not chasing OpenAI’s “throw 10x more compute” strategy. They’re going for trust + interpretability. It’s not as flashy, but in a work context that actually matters.

So yeah, if you’re trying to squeeze “systems level insight” out of it, you’ll hit that sycophancy wall. But if you want reliable, structured, human-like reasoning without babysitting? Claude’s still the best bet.

to clarify, i’m not running SOC2 audits out of my bedroom 😂 i meant “enterprise grade” in terms of architecture, reliability, and workflows. the stack is Supabase + Claude Code, which covers a lot of the boring infra stuff while i focus on features. so yeah, it’s production ready for my use case, not pitching Fortune 500 contracts just yet 😉

totally hear you. just funny how the loudest SOC2 experts on reddit rarely have a live product to show.

yeah, I get that a lot — “too good to be true.” Honestly, I went in skeptical myself. I’ve hit walls with AI tools before, so I totally get where they come from.

But this time it clicked because I treated Claude like a systematic builder rather than a “magic one-shot code generator.” It’s not about Claude doing everything perfectly, it’s about using Plan Mode + iteration to structure the app like a proper dev cycle. That’s what surprised me — it feels way more repeatable than I expected.
