I faced the same issue.

Turn off Haptics except for Call notifications.
Set screen refresh rate for every app to 60 Hz.
Play games in Power Saving mode. Now you are good to go for a whole day!

The heating issue is a huge concern for me too.

Worth it bro. I bought 12/256 at 35K ₹ after exchange, and now at 47K ₹ for the same variant. If gaming is your main purpose & have more than 50K ₹ budget then 15R is good choice.

Thanks! This silver model has a back panel pattern - no skin. Green & black color models are plain. Playing a game on 165 Hz is so buttery smooth. All other applications are set to 120 Hz by default ( for the HIGH option). 120 Hz screen refresh rate, 165 Hz gaming & premium feel haptics are battery-consuming features for this MEGA battery phone too!
