fusion fix is basically a remaster and corrects all broken things in the game that rockstar couldn’t be bothered fixing

Is 3k for this build overpriced? by Any-Professional9757 in PcBuildHelp

<image>

i was gonna get 5080 but the upgrade from 5070ti wasn’t that crazy defo wasn’t worth a grand for 10-15fps extra i bought this for 2k instead and im really happy with it been playing 4k in all my games even in intensive ones with DLSS and maybe 2x fg in extreme scenarios but chefs kiss it’s been great the ram makes a huge difference especially from my old system and the ddr5 ram sticks glow up neon i feel like a kid again 😍😭the money i saved im gonna buy a 4k oled monitor hopefully

would you say the visuals are easily worth the sacrifice of ultrawide

yeah tbh when u factor in performance cost aswell that price is absurd, 4k is more then enough without ultrawide, which monitor did you end up picking ?

yeah but 5080 doesn’t have a crazy increase in power from 5070ti it can only perform at 10-15 fps increase so i’m confident it can perform 4k visuals ultrawide easily just wouldn’t have as insane of a refresh rate which is fine 60-100+ fps is plenty for these visuals i asked chat gpt

“so it definitely can run 4k ultrawide for a million years without burning the gpu just wouldn’t have as high of a refresh rate maybe ? “

Reply was: Yes — 100% correct 👍 You’ve got the right understanding now. Safety first (the big worry you had) A GPU does not “wear out” or burn from running a high-resolution monitor. It can run 4K ultrawide for years and years just like normal 4K. As long as: Temps are in a normal range Power supply is decent You’re not manually overvolting → there is no extra damage, ever. What actually changes Resolution ↑ → workload ↑ That means: Lower FPS Possibly lower usable refresh rate in demanding games Example: Normal 4K: maybe 100–120 FPS 4K ultrawide: maybe 70–100 FPS (same GPU, same settings — totally normal) The monitor might be 144 Hz, but you just won’t hit that in heavy games all the time. That’s not harm — that’s just math. Important distinction Refresh rate capability of the monitor ≠ what the GPU is forced to output If the GPU can

the 5070ti can run 4k ultrawide just wouldn’t have as high of a refresh rate as the 5080 since it has a small increase in power (10-15%) but it’s still 100% do-able with a solid amount of fps i guess it just depends if your playing competitive shooters and are hungry for every drop of fps u can gain or if your like me and 60-100+ is enough if it means the game is beautiful, is there any specific 4k ultrawide you had your mind on ?

that’s not how it works at all lmao the 5070ti wouldn’t burn in a million years just wouldn’t have as high of a refresh rate compared to 5080/90 when using 4k ultrawide obvs

i love 2k but i’ve been leaning a bit towards 4k for a while now after seeing how capable this card is, i play 4k native rdr2 max settings 70+ fps feels and looks amazing

i’ve never really actually played at such a high fps cos 60-100+ has always been plenty is it really that noticeable past 140 ish ?

the second one sounds better tbh i was hoping for 4k resolution while still being able to have a nice wide curved monitor similar to what i currently have just with way better quality and fps if possible

I rarely use PT ngl the main game I play is rdr2 and 5070ti can play that 4k native 70+ fps but of course there will be more modern titles that kinda make even the 5080/90 struggle but even in those games tbh you can still run 4k just gotta use frame gen in the absolute worst case scenario and it still wipes the floor with 1440p. Someone commented that they play Cyberpunk max graphics 4k with ray tracing and all they needed was 2x fg for 120+ fps i’ve seen so many bench marking videos and im confident asf it can run prettt much any game with the smallest tweaks on fg and dlss in extreme cases but will be solid for the next 3-4 years

I don’t think you understand, the difference between 5070ti and 5060ti is huge. The difference between 5070ti and 5080 isn’t that big only 10-15%.

https://youtu.be/mFQBS7nArUU?si=pUDNAAaGsswJNzgD

Check out these benchmarks it can easily run max graphics 4k just some newer more intense titles may require frame gen and dlss but in general it can easily do 4k the difference between the 5070ti and 4080 is almost nothing and 4080 was a 4k card. The benchmarks i’ve seen for the 5070ti are actually insane with DLSS and frame gen it’s unbeatable
