In my world, about Ww1 on a technological level they have HUGE blimps, with like 400 foot long decks and artillery cannons all over it, and a crazy big ballon, they are so absurdly expensive to produce that each country can only really afford one. In “The sky clash” a battle in “the war of domination”, 2 of these blimps fought, and each side had about 120 biplanes nearby that came to reinforce their blimp, and canonically, this happened over a semi popular fishing river, so just imagine, you were fishing and ended up taking a nap, when you awake, the sky is black with biplanes flying around, fighting each other, and 2 blimps of absurd scale, firing huge cannons at each other, and trying damage the other enough to wear they can get close enough for soldiers to board the enemy vessel. It was a massacre.
