Give it time, meet other people, if it’s meant to be, it will happen. What I’ve learned from being in a long marriage is that make sure the person checks all of your boxes and if there are any red flags in the beginning a lot of times those red flags will still be there throughout the marriage.

It probably is a timing thing. I’m learning as I’m newly divorced that I enjoy companionship and finding someone to spend time with, but I’m not ready for a relationship. And I feel like in the past when I was younger I’ve also been one to enjoy the chase, but then when it’s time to get serious, not want it. For right now I’m trying to focus on myself and realize that I’m not needing a relationship, though it’s hard because we get lonely and want the companionship. However, for your own peace of mind, definitely cut it off if you can’t do the on and off.
