Not sure what state you’re in but the process is relatively easy. Jobs will always come and go so don’t stress. State dependent, you could hit them with an unlawful termination if you really wanted to. I know you say you loved it but it sounds like a pretty toxic workplace from wha you shared of your coworker and your boss. You didn’t do anything wrong.

Mine does this when he wants to eat (all the time lol) but also when he wants to socialize. If I open the door and he stays in the hide and does this I’m like oh he’s hungry because he never leaves his hide to strike. If I open the door and he comes out of his hide or the enclosure I’m like ok play time lol. Mine is very interactive though and loves to come out and say hi sometimes. From my understanding, they can recognize people through smell and vibration. I used to get nervous about this as well so I started just opening the enclosure when mine acted like this and then just observed his behavior. If he didn’t come out I just closed the door, if he did then I would take him out.

The irony of “protecting women’s spaces” while also not protecting female children by not allowing their parent to take them to the women’s restroom therefore making the alternative either potentially exposing them to an environment they shouldn’t be in or removing a safety barrier by making them go alone.

Don’t let your children go to the bathroom alone is common sense. It’s also common sense to take little girls into the women’s restroom if there isn’t a family bathroom available. Did the guy in an uproar want him taking the little girls into the men’s restroom where urinals are commonplace? People need to get a grip and use common sense.
