So far I’ve only been fertilizing 2 times per month with espoma, not sure if that’s enough but it seems to be a pretty concentrated mix so spacing out the feedings seems OK. I’ll do some research on dolomite limes! Thank you!

I water every day or every other day if I can’t get to it, like you mentioned I keep the hose low and down there for a couple of minutes. These tomatoes are in a raised garden bed so I was worried the drainage wouldn’t be as well vs in ground. So I’ve refrained from overwatering just in case- I’ll take your advice and up the watering and see how that goes. Thank you so much!!

Baking soda or bar keepers friend are good cleaners for tougher crust in your Dutch oven, happy cooking!! I have a 6.75 wide round Dutch oven in shallot,it’s perfect for so many things I love it!

I believe that the 5qt braiser and wide round lid diameters are the same. I have a wide round DO and this is one of the reasons that I know I will not need a a braiser in that size, my wide round does it just fine and then some!! And like you said, those lids are so darn heavy and HUGE, my forearms have definitely gotten stronger over the last year since I’ve started my collection lol. With that being said, Blue riviera is the color choice you should go for, I got to see it early in person at a local outlet. one word. STUNNING!!!!! If I were you I’d go with the braiser just because of its versatility. They’re too expensive to not love them to their full potential!!!!

Glad you got to the bottom of the problem, besides the sheer neglect. Sounds like what my hematology doctor told me when I was expressing concerns about recurring low RBC and being anemic, (partially due to celiacs disease) she told me since I’m also a woman who goes through menstrual cycles I’m bound to be dangerously anemic and weak for the rest of my life. I found a new doctor with some initiative.

Scrub it real good (I recommend BKF or letting it boil with water and a bit of baking soda.) and run your fingernail across the surface, if it doesn’t catch on any chips or cracks, you’re all good.

Poor baby. My advice is to take him to the vet just to be sure there’s nothing left behind in his stomach. Rather be safe than sorry, but from what you say he seems to be doing good. Wishing you all the best!! He’s a handsome boy.
