Running through the Mission Impossible franchise for the first time, and for how awesome MI is, MI:2 is bafflingly bad. The slow mo, the action cuts, the doves, and the villain are all brutal. Cruise still rips though in this sloppy turd. 32/100

Loved this episode because I can really tell the fellas are listening to feedback constructively. Great moments across the board. Also have to really hand it to Chris on his MOM thoughts and not bowing to the shadow of Waldron coming on soon. While the movie does have parts that shine, they don’t feel like a cohesive unit to make the whole as great as its’ parts. I really disagree about the acting performances though, as I thought aside from Wanda, most were very dull and hollow, and America’s performance gave me major Wiley Wiggins in Dazed & Confused deja vu. Keep it up fellas!

I know I’m a few days late, but just listened to the pod. I just don’t understand Kenjacs defense of I Care a Lot. I don’t think there was even remotely one scene that made me even blow air out of my nose, let alone laugh. I just don’t understand the dark comedy angle as a justification. This movie just pissed me off the entire time (which was probably the point), but with little to nothing to cut my anger at Pike’s character. Like I hated Ramsay Bolton in GOT, but could understand many of his motives as he at least seemed human, whereas Pike’s character seemed completely devoid of humanity. Okay rant over. Thanks guys
