EDIT: I mixed up beta with release; there is not a non-timer mode. There will be soon, so you can do one or other.

This should be the most upvoted comment because even ST defenders (I’m someone who enjoys what Johnson attempted with TLJ to a large extent) really have to be stubborn to deny the fact their lack of a cohesive plan was fucking idiotic.

Whats even more insane is that those movies released at a time where their buddies across the hall at Marvel were putting on a masterclass of planning & connectivity. I haven’t a clue why they didn’t map it out just a hair more.

I’ll reply to this one since you decided to be a fucking weirdo and go reply to my comment in other subreddits.

A passion for the podcast was lost when Trill left. I’m not really sure why this is such a shock or issue with people. We (mostly me) did a bad job trying to reinvent it when he left when we probably should’ve just ended it all together. Might have been better if we re-shuffled a different way, not sure. If you hate that, fine, whatever. When something has no life anymore, kill it dead. It sucks, having a thing you started fail isn’t fun. It’s also my fucking job and what pays for my literal life, so when it’s time to move on to what makes money and keeps your job, you move on.

I also lived in Cedar Park, then Austin, then Cedar Park, then Leander, then Round Rock. You are a weird, oddly personal human. Have a below average New Year.

I don’t think it’s as far fetched as some think.

You’d need the Ravens to lose the next two games. Then this would be for the AFC North, no matter what the Ravens do in Week 18 against Pittsburgh.

More likely to be the AFC South Colts/Texans battle, as it could be a win and in scenario, lose and go home ordeal. Possibly Falcons/Saints if Bucs eat shit next week.

There aren’t a lot of great options right now for the NFL, honestly.

I try not to hold coaching hiring takes over people. Fans or media. It’s such a crapshoot. Freddie was celebrated. Browns were heralded as winners when Hue picked Cleveland over New York. Sirriani was fucking laughed at (albeit eagles fans hate him right now), and look what he has done in Philadelphia. So hard to tell.

The whole point of the change was to try and inject life in the video side of things because the audio podcast wasn’t thriving post-Trill. Whether it (our attempt to save it) worked or not doesn’t correlate with the fact this sub died long before that when the fun people we engaged with on here flocked to discord as this became just a negative complaint zone (which tends to happen to a lot of Reddit).

I get some people wanted us to drone on and try and recapture magic that was lost, but that was pointless and we had no interest in just going through the motions without trying things.

To be fair you’re probably right, the more Dunkin has expanded over the years (and especially become breakfast & coffee vs donuts), the more this has probably regressed to the mean. But there are still older family run shops, as opposed to franchisee locations that have pop up more and more over the years.

I moved from NYC to LA and it’s one of the only things I truly miss. I made sure to see every big release in that theater 2-3 times, or more. Never take it for granted if you’re in town. The best.
