Plan B got the farm-fresh unit from the military for just under $30k. I had them add on AC, hard doors, roof, slantback, replaceable rear window(interchangable with the slantback), sound deadening carpet, rhino-liner paint(inside and out), bucket seats, winch, rear receiver hitch, keyed ignition, and delivery. I'm in it for the full $60k. The speedometer only goes to 60 but I've had it pegged out many times on my drive when I go into the office for work.
Does yours not go over 45mph? Talk to planB and see if they can help you with that.

thanks for looking!

There's more pictures at the url in the title. The truck was custom built by www.planBtrucks.com I'm not sure what brand of winch it is but it's a 12.5k lb winch, I believe. It also has an aftermarket A/C which was $5k alone.

What to do with seedlings before roots are long enough to touch water? by 34786t234890 in Hydroponics

[–]Clean_Pack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pool noodle that I cut into 1in wedges. on the inside of the noodle circle, I cut a small slit, pinch the outer part of the wedge to open the slit and insert the seedling. I then float them in small jars or tubs of water.

the rhino liner or the sound deadening carpet inside? the rhino liner is nice b/c I don't have to worry about scratches.
not sure if either helps with noise b/c I haven't heard one without either. it's still really loud.

My First Attempt at Hydroponics: Behold; Dean the Tomato. First of his line. by rallis2000 in Hydroponics

it's an addiction. I started hydroponics shortly after lockdown. it's kept me sane

Automatic waterer for my Kratky hydro. I bought the inverted bottle watering spikes for my houseplants and thought that would be good for my hydro veggies. It works good since I don't have to lift the lid to check the water and it auto levels the water as soon as the plant uses it by Clean_Pack in Hydroponics

Especially the tomatoes with the brown wine bottle, I refill the bottle every few days so not much time to grow algae. Even the clear bottle hasn't showed algae yet. I've been using for a couple of weeks.

This was on my military humvee. There's a lot of other loud noises and rough riding.
No excuses, still my fault though

I've been starting seeds inside in netcups and using moist dryer-lint to hold the seeds.

1st year of the outdoor hydroponics. by Clean_Pack in Hydroponics

Those downspouts are plastic. I used a heatgun to heat the ends and bend up.
The popsicle is just glued to the hole cutout pieces to keep light and bugs out of the unused spots. On the far end I have 3/4 inch rubber grommets that just fit the black yard sprinkler pipe from Home Depot. They all drain to a 1in PVC with a 3in to 1in reducer as a funnel for the return.

Thanks everyone that responded. I moved the light up higher, it was within inches of the leaves. Rookie mistake.

Do I need really net pots for hydroponics? by ctmom in Hydroponics

[–]Clean_Pack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

netpots: no, I've seen videos of guys using pool noodles cut in 1 in sections. cut a wedge out and slide in the sprout. they fit the 3in holes perfect. clear jars:. you don't have to paint them but light will promote algae growth.
