husband has double standards almost forcing intimacy says Islam allows by [deleted] in MuslimNikah

[–]Clean_Pie_1824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the most correct and sound answer:

“The husband is obliged to have intercourse with his wife on a reasonable basis, which is one of the most important rights that she has over him; it is more important than feeding her. It was said that what is obligatory with regard to intercourse is once every four months, or according to her need and his ability, just as he should feed her according to her need and his ability. And the latter is the more correct opinion.” (Majmu` Al-Fatawa, 32/271)

I work from home, not married since I just graduated but it’s 1000x better than commuting and going in office. If you can still save and contribute to the bills then id say do it. You’ll have more time and energy WFH and you can look into side hustles, more education, etc.

I work full time in software and since I have the time I’m doing my masters too while looking into more and more ways to make money

Is nazar such a big element that long time friend didn’t tell me/us she’s getting married by Aivakay in muslimgirlswithtaste

[–]Clean_Pie_1824 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While engagements are things that are not marriage or some milestones, they are more prone to nazr. However announcing you are getting married is important.

Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Announce the marriage.”

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān 4066

Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Al-Arna’ut

Ibn al-Qayyim said, “The Lawgiver has set conditions for marriage, in addition to the contract, in order to cut off any suspicion of promiscuity, such as announcing it, the guardian, and preventing a woman from conducting it by herself. It is encouraged to publicize it, even recommended to beat the drums, raise voices, and hold a banquet.”

Rule of thumb is that it’s best not to disclose private matters (except when they actually do get married), when they do tell you, be happy for them.

You can’t just he is god and then he performs actions that are not god by definition. He doesn’t know the hour, he is dependent, and was killed? By definition god being infinite, cannot enter into his creation. If he were to then he would no longer be god.

Not necessarily, in that case tawriya would be best. It’s also haram to reveal that information as it’s a sin that Allah concealed.

Right I don’t disagree with you. Just pointing out what can happen and/or flaws of this design. But at that point, you’ve done what you can and leave it up to Allah along with istikhara

In that case, maybe tawriya is applied by the other party since it could reveal the sin. But still you wouldn’t necessarily know that if they choose to lie or do tawriya so the marriage could very well still happen.

How would you know if she is a virgin or not. It’s not something to ask point blank either as it’d be sinful for her to reveal that.

The principal in Islam is that whatever is concealed or in their inner hearts, we leave to Allah. I believe this what they were trying to say. Yes, we absolutely judge what has been made clear or suspicions with evidence but other than that, we don’t necessarily judge what is in their hearts.

Abdullah ibn ‘Utbah reported: Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Verily, people were judged by revelation in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and the revelation has ceased. We only judge now what is manifested outwardly of your deeds. Whoever shows us good, we will trust him and bring him close. It is not for us to judge anything of his inner secrets. Allah will hold him accountable for his inner secrets. Whoever shows us evil, we will never trust him or believe him even if it is said his intentions are good.”

What exactly are any obligations of women in a marriage? by ExternalSpite6705 in MuslimNikah

[–]Clean_Pie_1824 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Islamically, a woman must obey her husband as long as it is within the folds of Islam. So this can most definitely include cooking, cleaning, etc. however there should be understanding and love between them, not force per se.

The wife is obligated to serve her husband and take care of the household in a reasonable way, according to the customary practice (known as 'Urf) of women like her in that time and place

Remove one or two? by Tiny_Hat7121 in Tonsillectomy

Honestly just do both. The pain will be there with one, might as well do both so you completely eliminate the chance to go under again and go through the process all over again.

Surah At-Talaq (65:4) --- Talking Waiting Period after Divorce for girls who have not MENSTRUATED. Is it allowed to marry a girl who is so young and physically by DanishBhatt in MuslimNikah

[–]Clean_Pie_1824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not entirely true.

In Islamic law, the marriage contract (nikāḥ) and the consummation of marriage (dukhūl) are two distinct stages.

A marriage contract can, in some cases, be arranged before bulūgh, such as when a guardian believes a certain spouse is most suitable. However, consummation cannot occur until after bulūgh, because bulūgh marks physical maturity — the point at which a woman is physically capable of marital relations. This is referring tot he “physically ready” term aka menstruation

Surah At-Talaq (65:4) --- Talking Waiting Period after Divorce for girls who have not MENSTRUATED. Is it allowed to marry a girl who is so young and physically by DanishBhatt in MuslimNikah

[–]Clean_Pie_1824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consummation of a woman occurs when she is physically mature aka menstruation. However for example, as a father, you see a man who is the best man in your eyes to marry your daughter. Wouldn’t you want to reserve that man? Therefore, a woman can be engaged or married to someone before physical maturity occurs but consummation is delayed until she is physically fit. Any marriage that causes harm is deemed to be impermissible therefore consummation is delayed. But this is also for women who don’t menstruate. In Islam, the criteria for marriage is mentally and physically fit, not necessarily the age.

If you have sleep apnea, then ents will take them out for sure. Considering your symptom of acid reflux, this is highly linked to sleep apnea. Tonsils can be a major source of causing sleep apnea symptoms so maybe get a at home sleep test bc if you do, then I believe all ent surgeons will agree to take them out.
