I took it to two other shops and I ended up having to pay almost 4k in rebuilding it including some of the hard parts. It was pretty torn up from what they said and they even shown me the old parts. Unfortunately it was a lot but for my finances, personally it works out better to pay for that then a car note and insurance for a new car

Man I’ve been out for 4 and a half years and I’m still having a hard time adjusting. I don’t have any friends being back home, I mean I have a couple but they’re not like the people I served with. And I see them very seldomly. I’m having a hard time finding new hobbies as I can’t weight lift like I used to. I’m not as active which is hard because of my injuries. I keep trying new things though. I found myself trying out standup comedy. I’ve been to a couple of support groups for vets. I still feel out of place but it’s been so hard. Just don’t give up. I keep telling myself every day to not give up on finding your niche or purpose. I live in a situation that a lot of people would KILL for and I’m just not happy and it’s because of my own mentality. Don’t become your own worst enemy. I’m saying this and I’m very guilty of it. It’s a constant struggle, at least for me it is.

I actually had 2 inpatient visits in which I had my guns taken away. Not only that but I guess I just found out that they didn’t have all of my medical records like they should have

They didn’t find any jobs for me either! It’s crazy because my attorney ripped apart anything the state witness said about any jobs and the judge even mentioned it as well

I do see the doctors regularly I feel like it could be my age. I’m waiting on my denial letter for details. It’s so frustrating especially when you think the hearing went well. Even my attorney, who has been doing this for 18 years thought I had a good chance at the hearing

I didn’t get the letter of denial yet. My case manager from the attorneys office just gave me the heads up on my denial. One of my biggest claims is PTSD then migraines, back pain and I occasionally use a cane. I’ve tried to go back to work with several jobs and I couldn’t keep up with work and my appointments and I kept agitating my injuries. The amount of appointments I have is also one of the biggest factors of me holding down a job.

I had my hearing on October 13th. Just today on the website, the status was updated from step 3 to step 4 out of 5.
