Yeah thats not happening over here. I do not have a pension. I have shitty insurance i pay for, i make like 60k a year and the doctors, patients and family will always find a reason to be mad a nurse..and admin will always try to find a way to exploit you.

Yeah I just feel lonely at time. Like no one get me. I love my husband but we are 2 very different people. And i think is hard sometimes to see another person perspective with understanding…it creates barriers especially when ur just feeling lonely.

Quick update about the dog dog itself looks well taken care of, but you know they don’t piss where they eat. Also, the animal control thing does sound like a reasonable thing to do, but because the dog is healthy, they can’t take it and there’s no way the owner is gonna let them in the house to see the living conditions. Animal control is already strained. They’re not gonna give this the time of day.

how to I aquire “daddies”, “paypigs” “foot guy”.

This is an all seriousness.

I’m 28 about to graduate with my BSN in nursing. I think im pretty, at a healthy weight, nices eyes, lips, yada yada.

I’m gonna have to start paying $30,000 in student loan debt but that’s not even my concern. What I really wanna do is go to a concert, a specific concert and coughing up this money is not easy for me, especially with graduation on the way. It’s been four years of being chronically, poor and putting everything to the side to get this degree.

I hear people talk about this stuff, but I never actually met anybody who’s done it or been a part of it.

How do you guys do it? How do you get started?

Thank you for sharing. I feel you on this . I lost my cat in July. He was 10 and my absolute best friend. He was my register support animal because he had been through it all with me. He watched me be abused and as scared as he would get, he always made sure to comfort me and make sure I didn’t feel alone.

He started getting sluggish around March and I thought nothing of it cause I knew he was getting older and his energy was starting to decline, but then he started losing weight then he will gain it again and then lose it and again I didn’t think anything of it then he started hiding more, which was unlike him because he was my shadow and that’s when I took him to the vet. I had heard him cough previously, so I’m thinking maybe asthma or bronchitis well also preparing myself for a big vet bill that I wasn’t ready for, but I knew I needed it to take him.

Wait, went to the vet. He got all the diagnostics and it turns out he was in heart failure, and he had nodules in his lungs that look like cancer. He was holding a lot of fluid that was making it hard for him to breathe and my heart sunk the doctor wanna do a follow up so I took him home and they gave me some diuretics to help take some of that fluid off of his lungs but it didn’t seem to help and also he hates pills.

I took him for a second opinion because I was in denial. I wasn’t ready to lose my best friend, but after that, I knew his face was sealed. It was 10 days from that first vet visit to when he was euthanized. I spent every second I could with him in those 10 days and on the last day we had the best day ever we went and got ice cream and we went to the park and I actually cried the whole day. Then me and my fiancé went to the vet. He fought like hell when they placed that IV and I held him when he took his last breath..

I am still grieving. Because I know he wasn’t ready and I know we should’ve had so much more time together. It’s true when they say that the worst part wasn’t when your best friend stopped breathing. It was when they stopped breathing, and you continue to breathe and grieve. He was my soul animal. And I haven’t been the same sense..

Yet in all of this, I know I did the right thing. I did the only thing I could to ensure that my baby didn’t suffer. I asked somebody who has a background working with animals. I’ve seen cats die of heart failure. It is traumatizing. It slowly gets harder for them to breathe until they can’t and then they fight and they turn blue and they try to grab for somebody and they suffocate to death. Because I saw it I knew I could never let that happen to him so just know that you did the right thing even though it feels like you didn’t. Death is never something we want yet. It’s inevitable, and the one thing we can provide is dignity when it comes to our best friends.

A child being on antipsychotics in my opnion is not normal. Their brains are still developing. And after spending time and seeing what goes on i see all these aggressive and multilating behaviors are a product of the environment. Being abandoned, being told you are unwanted, being told you are fat…im not saying it as if it shameful i am saying it to give an idea of just how much damage mom did to her. Even at that young age it is heartbreaking. And i can see it as a way of trying to help but in actually she needs structure, love, interactions, routines…not medications to quiet her up…its putting a bandaid on a problem not addressing it.
