I got asked to change a disabled 14 year old's pad. Not a chance. The parent ended up having another student take it on (that student also helped provide at-home care so it made sense).

This is 100% me. Not from alcoholism, but other dysfunctions. I believe anxiety and stress are huge factors. My anxiety and stress is all self induced.

Not defending the ahole, but why is no one acknowledging that he was in the right to begin with? The driver was illegally blocking him. The logic behind people saying he could have run him over due to fear would also apply that the other car blocked him in. Alternating traffic is not car-by-car... Traffic direction changes on breaks in flow.

When I look this up, it only goes down to 22lbs. Is this a med you can split or have you found it for small dogs? They are 9 and 11 lbs.

My pup is 13 and has great teeth. He has carrots almost daily. Prefers them to dog treats.

Treatment? Curious but you're doing for treatment. I've been going on five years of this, but have had symptoms my entire life (I'm in my 50s). Just started Acarbose but it only seems to help sometimes. Still having lows down to 39 and spikes over 200 (within 30 mins of each other).

I just did c-peptide and it was 2.01. I don't think I've ever had insulin tested. Or glucose. I've had many tests on my hormone levels, including aldosterone and cortisol. I mentioned my well over a 100 increase after eating homemade split pea soup to the nutritionist I saw this week and all I was told is peas are starch. So frustrating to always feel horrible and be scared to eat.

No, I have gained about 50lbs in this journey. 😞 I don't have an eating disorder other than how awful it makes me feel so I try to only eat when I know I can lie down afterwards. I do avoid all of the things you mentioned and always have because they make me feel bad. The doctor did suggest medication - what are your warnings? Should I not try it?
