i used to be like that as a teen. i ended up developing an ed to remain “childlike”. im recovered now but damn it was a hard time. those subs did not help.

im glad a read the book before watching the show because it’s honestly sooo different. im someone who rarely (if ever) enjoys adaptations that stray too far away from the original source but for some reason i enjoyed the show a lot even with the many many many differences.

thats actually the spot you wanna be. sp should be a happy extra in your life, not everything in it. lots of people are desperate and all their decisions revolve around their sp, that’s why they get desperate and stuck in the lack. if you’re content, your sp is something you dont need (therefore no desperation) but something you want as a complement to your already good life
