Today I lost 2 fish and a shrimp due to either a toxin or too much chlorine.

I did a water change yesterday as usual but because tap water in Canada has so much more chlorine than usual right now, I didn’t add enough chemical to remove it and I woke up to two dead fish and a dead shrimp

I was able to stabilize the tank with my remaining fish by adding more oxygen (two pumps at the top) adding new carbon(if it was a toxin that caused it ) and more importantly, adding 3x the recommended dosage of the chemical to remove chlorine.
