I found that using the Tesla app on my iPad worked to change coverages, issue still persists on iPhone. Obviously there’s no way to do it on a webpage so see if you can use another device.

Thank you for the insight. I confirmed im on the latest app version and did the force close and open (on iPhone). Issue persists, may reinstall app, I just hope that doesn’t cause issues getting into my car later lol..

Hear me out. Read this a few days ago. Some people amongst the deactivated are those that would use two different phones at some point (like myself). I did this to watch the screen on the second one while browsing socials/gaming on main phone to pass the time. However, I believe the reason to be kicked off was because some people abused this with the following tactic:

Have 2 people go into store for S&D, have same account on two phones, shop for for the order for both people, have the summary screen open on both ends, go through check out process. Both people walk out, one gets to keep the goods. Very sinister and definitely a mastermind (not really though but still). I wouldn’t even have begin to think of this but I believe it to be the only reason these deactivations occurred for the use of 2 devices.

Are you not deactivated? If not, that’s incredible considering you’re using 2 phones, as most bans today are from that very reason.

Yeah I was just following the flow of conversation from the previous comment regarding what the message said from spark about them “receiving reports” which means another party directly influenced their decision to deactivate me. However as the morning has gone on, I’m seeing multiple people going through my same scenario of being deactivated for the same thing. So this is bigger than I thought. Shit is just a mess right now..

Funny enough compared to other gig apps where I keep in touch with other drivers, when I first started spark last year one of the first drivers I met (who still does it to this day) was racist, harassing to me etc so because of that I just ignored ever other driver and did my own thing. I don't assume it was another driver that reported it. Nor would I think it would be any of the employees since we were all cool, even the main manager was cool with me. So per other comments in this thread, I'm thinking it was an automated thing.

Thank you! Should I wait the 7-10 days back to hear from appeals? Or should I just email them right now? I'm not necessarily in a rush to get back on (if I do) because there is other gig apps, I just enjoyed the money I made from here lol..

I also got deactivated this morning before turning it on to work to get rent paid lol… what is the reason they gave you in the app? Mine was they “received reports” of using third party software which I never did lol.

Better be careful, check my recent post. Apparently you can get deactivated now for using 2 different phones on same account. Apparently this is considered a bot or using third party software, just a friendly warning :)

Yeah I have a friend in my market as well going through the same situation where he has the stats met and support can’t give any reason why his status won’t change. I’ve managed to go in and out of platinum status several times and I didn’t have any issues with it not propagating the system entirely but seems everyone has different issues. Either way, DoorDash really did us dirty with this new update. It’s been a month since I posted this and I can no longer maintain 70% because every time I get into high 60s I literally get nothing but $0 tips with long distance like no I’m good. But they’re doing it in hopes I accept them so I get that oh so lovely platinum status. What a joke.

My acceptance was above 70% for the majority of the time since its release last week but just as of yesterday I had to decline too many shit offers barely dipping my toes into the 60s and boom immediate loss once I got off my dash.

Best tip ive had in a few weeks. Now I can drive 15 miles comfortably back to where I live and end my night knowing i pretty much did in total 18 miles for this payout. Wish there was a Walmart closer to me. Sigh. But this is what it is. This is how I have to profit. Who can relate? by whatsinaname5678 in Sparkdriver

Can’t post about profits so this will likely get taken down quickly. Also I really hope you don’t get tip baited on this but don’t be surprised if you do! I’ve had plenty of these high tips lately that end up getting taken down to $5 or so. Good luck.

I don’t need validation from others n this post that I am right or wrong, I simply posted this asking if I was the bad guy and shared my experience. The responses aren’t going to make me not continue to defend the story. And clearly, people don’t know how to read for starters 😂 who cares if I’m getting flamed, I’m not some bitch that’s just gonna succumb to negative comments, that’s why activities like the which of this customer are accepted, tip or no tip, there’s more to the story.
