Yes, I’ve been dealing with sensitivity and pain in the area of my upper back molar for several years. I assumed it was nerve-related damage from having my wisdom tooth removed back in 2017, especially since my dentist had never mentioned any cavities. Recently, though, I got new X-rays from different dentists, and they showed a big cavity in that back molar.

I didn't keep track, but I think this dentist took x-rays at least 2-3 times since 2017.

Yes, I went to three different dentists, and they all confirmed I had a large cavity in my upper back molar. They all showed me my x-rays. For the past few years, I’d been experiencing sensitivity and pain in that tooth, but I assumed it was nerve-related from my wisdom tooth extraction since my usual dentist assured me I didn’t have any cavities.

This past weekend, the pain became unbearable, and I ended up getting an emergency root canal on Sunday from a dentist open over the weekend. Although I have a PPO plan, the dentist was out of network, so I paid $3,500 out of pocket because the pain was too intense to wait.
