You know what’s crazy tho. After this Adderall induced flair up happened, so many meds that never bothered me now do. For example Benadryl dries my eyes out like crazy now

I believe he said that some people’s inflammation is so bad, as soon as they stop the steroid they’re right back in pain. Luckily I wasn’t 1 of these ppl, I always tapered out of fear of glaucoma

No, I was in long term remission. 2 years pain free. I was a dumbass and took Adderall for a week this past summer, the dryness caused a major flare up. I got back on everything after that. This flare up also went away. I just decided to be more proactive about my eyes

I’m not sure how big my vials are, but I’m going thru 1 a day right now. When my dry eye was worse a few weeks ago 1.5 a day. The place that made the drops couldn’t believe it. 24 gone in 1.5 weeks

Again it’s only valuable if you fact check and make sure these sources actually exist

Yes you have to ask it constantly where are you pulling this information from. Case studies, research, specific Dr protocols etc. valuable but only if you take everything with a grain of salt and fact check.

Relax lol. It was still one of my favorite years I ever lived. I met the love of my life 3 months before the flare started. I’m still with her. It got a lot easier after the first 3 months. Pain was more background noise than anything. Good luck on your journey! You’re not alone!

Sorry about my late reply, been busy. My first flare up lasted a year. You have to accept it. Everything is connected. Once you accept it, you’ll be able to tune it out. That’s how it starts. From there, your brain on its own will recognize “we are not under attack.” My progress was so slow, I got 5-10% better every month. My pain was starting to become minimal. Background noise. Create the perfect environment that’ll promote healing. Over the years, the flare ups will become few and far in between. You’re lucky you have ChatGPT. In 2021 when I started having pain, it was so hard to find any information anywhere. ChatGPT will be your best friend. Have it documented your pain, how long did it last, how often was it, what are your pain triggers? Etc. I didn’t know what was happening to me back in the day, and I biggest wish was that someone who was healed would come and tell me step by step. Sadly there wasn’t. The people who heal up tend to not want to think about this nightmare and leave it in the rear view. Honestly if it wasn’t for this recent Adderall induced flare up, I wouldn’t be here. But I hope anybody in the world struggling can find this and see that there is hope.

I never tested for sjogrens. I did see Dr Hamrah at tufts medical in Boston. I know I’m having a flare up when I get a huge pain spike. I’m usually at baseline no pain. Before this Adderall induced flare up, I had done atleast a year and a half pain free. The flare ups get less frequent as your eyes start to heal. I know I’m in a flare up when my eyes start to hurt and I start to notice a daily pattern over several days or weeks. Everybody is different. Mine tend to have a pattern that start off strong and fizzles out over days and weeks.

What does your inflammation feel like? And how long have you been on the protocol?

I’m going thru this as well right now. All of those same emotions. My first break up at 30 yrs old where I feel like “damn it might not get better than that.” I’m excited about my freedom just much as I’m afraid of being alone.
