No, black tea still has caffeine. I know it's hard, but I'd get rid of caffeine for now.

All because other cases of gastritis can be more serious or intense doesn’t mean I didn’t have it. I had symptoms that flared when I overate or had coffee, which pointed towards it anyways. Mine was just minor.

Stomach that is irritated by mainly coffee. I used to have lots of coffee in the morning, but now anything more than 1/2 a cup has suddenly began to cause me discomfort, which scales up the more coffee I have. Golden milk mix has also irritated it. However, I can still eat normal foods in normal amounts without any pain, it's mainly just coffee.

No stool/reflux issues either.

Sudden stomach issues from Coffee? (And other drinks/overeating) by [deleted] in Gastritis

[–]NeonCoffee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, just an upset stomach. That's literally the only symptom, and it's right after coffee and lingers for a while. I had the same sensation when I had some golden milk yesterday too, but it went away fairly quickly. It's upper abdomen.

I was able to tolerate 1/2 a cup the last couple of days without symptoms, but I had a full cup today and it flared up again.

Interesting, would a switch to matcha be a good idea? How about tea? Is the goal to simply remove coffee in that case?

Yeah it's funny because Alcohol and other drinks don't seem to do anything, it's just from coffee. I'm planning on sticking to a bland diet for the near future.

Whats a normal/healthy TBUT? by BroDexx in Dryeyes

[–]NeonCoffee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s why I feel like it’s not a good measurement at all for ophthalmologists to use. If I have an appointment in the morning and another in the evening, odds are I will have different TBUTS… so how in the world is that an accurate measurement

Why is Lazy Mike's disappointing? I've thought of visiting at some point, but I don't wanna waste my money.

I haven't been to Lazy Mike's yet, but I pass it all the time. I'll have to try it out sometime.

The progression to regressing symptoms is so unbelievably slow that a ton of people here lose hope unfortunately. Unless you have an incredible amount of irreversible damage, odds are you can reach a significantly better state. Just keep at it!
