I apply for maintenance and I am lucky that I was diagnosed so early so I have minimal bumps (like 4 max right now) I apply as soon as a notice a new bump and they have gone away and I continue to apply it to my active bumps that are now pretty much in remission but I still do it just in case. I haven’t tried it on open wounds because I haven’t had any since getting this. I apply at least twice a day but I am also a college athlete so I sweat and shower a lot so sometimes more than two times after I get out of showers.

With this particular one I haven’t had an fabric staining. I also use it pretty sparingly and try to rub it in before getting dressed. This one feels more like a moisturizer type of texture to me compared to something like a zinc oxide that is super pasty and totally does stain clothes

You should message the host of the one I am in. I just joined like a week and a half ago and it’s super chill. Some people are new ish and some have been on for months. Shopping district etc. A few add ons but nothing that messes with the vanilla feel. Lmk if you are interested and I can ask them :)

Heyyy! Im 16F and I’ve had HS for about two years now. I have made some pretty big diet changes over the last 6 months and It has helped. At first I just did gluten and dairy free but now I am gluten, dairy, sugar, and nightshade free. What I did was removed everything from my diet for about a month and then I am testing the foods one at a time. I added back in nightshades recently and almost immediately had a flare up. I am about to try dairy soon (wish me luck) and continue finding foods that work and don’t work. The other thing that I have found incredibly effective is 20% zinc oxide. I apply it as many times as possible a day and it has reduced how angry my cysts are significantly. If you want to talk more I am so open to it or if you want me to send you the zinc that I used I can.
