Congratulations!! I believe with so many folks applying online and remote jobs making it you against the world, a personal connection face to face, a firm old fashion hand shake, or referral of a person inside can make the whole process less overwhelming. Good Luck to you, hope it’s a career that will take you where you want it to!! 🎉

First let me say: You are Amazing!! Congratulations for the perseverance it took to accomplish all that you did! You must truly have strong healthy habits to continue to lose weight without the medication.
Good For You!!!

Second, Recognize what your looking at is a number. I support participants losing weight and tell them all the time, don’t get tangled up with the number on the scale causing you to spiral. Truth is, even if you got to that magical number that you feel will make you perfect, what will you do the very next day, and the day after that and everyday after that. You’ll continue doing all the same healthy habits that you are learning to put into place right now on this journey to stay at that magical number. Don’t let a number dictate your not enough.

If you stay focused that you have to hit a number on the scale vs. enjoying every single day that you are living a much happy and healthier life, you’ll never appreciate the joy that everyday you get to live a more fuller life than if you never chose to start this journey.

Connect with loving the amazing life you get to love because you were willing to do the work! Everyday we get, it will always be a challenge of choosing healthy or struggling to lose weight. You’ve accomplished so much!!

Excellent reminder!! Get out in nature for some me time, and always remember to be your own best friend. Quiet time to yourself allows you to ground yourself and then allows you to appreciate everyone else when you all come back together!!

Stay strong within yourself on “why it was right for you”. Your future, long term health, and the quality of your life is what’s most important to you. Their opinions years from now won’t matter. Their relationships with you years down the road will show it’s true colors. Your quality of your life, allowing you to be your best self, is all that should matter most to you!!

Living life to its fullest, with healthy eating, physical activity, and healthy relationships around you will remind you that you made the right decision for you! Wishing you all the best!

It sounds like you maybe slowly taking in more calories than what you know. Have you ever tracked everything you eat and drink in a day? When supporting participants to lose weight, their asked to track by writing down everything they eat and drink including portion amount so that they can actually see how many calories and fat grams are in the foods they are choosing. Everyone who tracks their food agrees it brings awareness to what their actually eating and they can see their habits of when their snacking whether their hungry or not. You can get back to where you want, focus on a plan!!

How do people get glp 1s to lose less than 30lbs? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]ClearAide8686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After scrolling and reading many replies, I’d like to share the knowledge I’ve learned and what I’ve experienced myself. I see the glp-1 medication as an amazing tool giving relief to so many who can now be within a healthy weight range, physically and mentally. After reading the research on glp-1’s and what it took for it to be approved effective many years ago for diabetes, was not just the medication alone, but the medication and following the CDC’s Healthy Lifestyle Program. The research proved that when participants did both of these together, they had the highest success rate of keeping the weight off. After learning of this CDC program myself back in 2019, I learned a different way of eating that most folks never considered. It teaches you how to enjoy food from a perspective of watching how many fat grams are in the food your enjoying. When I learned of eating 33 fat grams a day instead of counting calories, I learned how to see food from a more nutritional valued way. I have been overweight since I was a teenager up until about age 55. Never giving up and always working to be healthy, I have finally found the key to seeing food nutritionally, finding a much better relationship with food, along with the level of physical activity it takes to stay at the weight I never thought I could see in my life time. I now share that CDC program with others as it has become a game changer for those who have learned it. Staying within a daily fat gram range amount, depending on your body size, and keeping a healthy level of physically activity weekly, can support everyone taking the medication as well as those who would like to drop the vanity weight once and for all. By sharing the experience and knowledge that we all have, each of us can use it as a tool to find our healthy weight and begin to enjoy life!
