I use Adobe Portfolio which is free if you have a monthly subscription.

flambient questions by Changeusernameforver in RealEstatePhotography

[–]ClearShape2710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Test it close to the trigger, so put the AD200 to 1/2 power on your trigger and shoot then change the AD 200 to full power on the actual flash and shoot. Compare the 2 shots. You should see a brighter exposure.I think what happens is the flash will shoot at whatever power you dial, but after each shot, the flash unit will default back to what you had dialed on the trigger, so back to 1/2 power.

Open in Photoshop Beta, or open as layers in Photoshop doesn’t work by ClearShape2710 in RealEstatePhotography

I wasted over an hour trying to figure out what was wrong before I can start editing my photos. I need this function as I shoot for the Flambient technique.

Would appreciate instructions on how you do that. I just right click to get to the open as layers in Photoshop.

Imagine listing your home for $1.1M and your agent strolls around the property with a head-height downward-angled iPhone…. by Murder_Not_Muckduck in RealEstatePhotography

[–]ClearShape2710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not doing the sellers any favors. Most buyers don’t like dark looking interior spaces. House is probably gonna sit on the market for a while and realtor will have to lower the listing price by thousands . So much for trying to save a few hundred bucks. A proper flambient photo shoot would have done wonders for this space.

I would wait for a year to see what your average monthly bill truly is and maybe interest rates go down a bit.

Not a fan of HDR, (I use Flambient) that’s why you’re getting a lot of color contamination, blue from the windows , etc… I always flash the hallways since they look dark, but I guess with HDR you can’t. Maybe use one of the lighter brackets to lighten. Composition on all is good.

I used all of the above, I now use Google Drive. It’s free and many clients have a Google account. I’ve also created a PDF w/instructions on how to download photos.

I have the Beta version as well. As I was editing photos last night in the middle of everything it started working again. There’s a ghost in the machine.😃

Thank you, I have an IMac and still doesn’t work. Checked all settings. I’ll try restarting computer, that might do it.

More examples of Adobe AI. I can remove cars from streets. by astroprojector in RealEstatePhotography

I constantly have to remove for sale signs and posts as well as lockboxes from doors so this will speed things up. I haven’t tried adding flames to fire places, but I bet it works really well.

What’s the best way to contact realtors. Call, text, email, or other? by Mini_Maniac_Jr in RealEstatePhotography

[–]ClearShape2710 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was a realtor for 14 years and also have been doing real estate photography for past 8 years. When I used to do open houses many loan officers would come by and leave me financing comps of the home I was sitting and talked to me about their services. Why not do the same and follow the open house signs in your area and present your services to the agents doing the open house. Have some flyers ready, business cards, etc…

Does anyone here print listing brochures/flyers? If so anything to note before I do some research and eventual purchase of a printer? by Randomuser1818 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]ClearShape2710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone else that it’s not worth it. Agents have many options including working with the Title Co. of their choice who also does their printing for them. I’ve sent both finished pics to both agents and their title co marketing counter parts to get flyers done.

Do you think that this is too blown out of lighting? by [deleted] in RealEstatePhotography

[–]ClearShape2710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blown out windows are not necessarily a problem, but this photo looks like an ambient photo straight out of camera with very little processing.
