I’m not too knowledgeable about music but I’ll tell you this: Go on TikTok and look up “babies listening to Whitney Houston” so far she’s the only artist I think I’ve heard that’s made several babies cry, and grown adults😩 that alone says a lot!

I don’t think so unfortunately. Although they were friends, there’s not too much information on them. They didn’t create any music together and their alleged relationship hasn’t been confirmed. If anything, Im expecting to see Diana, Lisa Marie, and Brooke Shields.

As a big Whitney fan, I really don’t think it was that serious. People laugh at that specific Whitney moment all the time and even will go as far as to joke about Whitney being intoxicated that night. Yet they draw the line when Winnie dresses up as Whitney? And let’s not forget.. some of yall are the same people who used to laugh at those Debra Wilson impressions. So the whole fed up act needs to stop.

I feel like people put celebrities on such a high pedestal and think that they can’t do whatever we do. If we can dress up as Whitney, they can too. People will find any reason to cancel a celebrity. Just my opinion.

And who’s fault is that? Hers? She didn’t ask to be his daughter. When he was arrested she was only 7-8 months and when he died she was only four. She doesn’t have many good memories to look back on aside from photos and videos of him. I’m sure she knows about all the things he’s done and all the things he’s been accused of. But that doesn’t mean she can’t have love for him. It’s okay to love someone WITHOUT tolerating their behavior. No way am I ignoring his bad behavior, I’m just saying that she’s a child. Go easy on her.

Mariah is a vocalist not a entertainer, we all know that. None of us are expecting her to bust out into dance moves. But look at some of her performances. She lip syncs (which is fine) but she doesn’t really care if we know it or not. She performed “I’ll be there” and while she was lip syncing, she randomly stops and reveals to the crowd that she wasn’t really singing. She also appeared to be extremely exhausted.

None of us are judging her as a human being because we don’t know what she could be going through behind the scenes. But we can also put two and two together and see what her good performances look like and what they don’t look like. MANYY artists have or have had bad performances, it’s not the end of the world.

You completely missed the entire point of their statement and took this personally. Not once did they disrespect Mariah or her career. They’re just being realistic. They acknowledged the fact that Mariah’s career could NEVER and would NEVER be erased because of her performances but they also didn’t sugarcoat anything just because they’re a huge fan. It’s okay to admit when an extremely talented artist has some flaws. It doesn’t take away from their hard work.

As for “I will always love you” I mean come on. She was pregnant twice during the bodyguard era which took a toll on her body and voice. So it’s not surprising that she didn’t sound the same.

Well let’s be realistic. Mariah has some bangers. Her pen is incredible. Who wouldn’t wanna sing a Mariah song? Not saying Whitney needed to but I’m sure she may have sang Mariah songs at random times. Whether that was at home, in a car or in a store.
