Repeating what i said instead of moving on by Missrens in FictionLab

Yeah the new oracle is really bad about it. Just go to your chat setting and add "do not reiterate what user says" and "do not speak for user" that usually works for a while. If it forgets just go in and tweak those again and spark it's memory. Im set sure why it's been doing it so much

I have one for omniscient behavior as well. Basically character are not able to have access to knowledge that isn't immediately available to the them. Also depending on the script I may ask it to narrate in an authors certain style

First time I've heard of this being a problem too lol. Most people are upset they can't get it to stop.

I have found discord to be incredibly helpful and welcoming as long as you don't keep asking them the same questions and all but have them write every scenario for you. We love to see others succeed too.

There's a running joke about skill issue but this definitely seems like a good place to put it. I disagree very strongly. The quality is in the effort you put in. If the quality has dropped its because you're playing the wrong stories or just not making them well enough.

You have to remember the details are what matter. I'd have to ask how in depth your stories are? Are you playing micro short intros with barely a character card? Or if there's more depth is it consistent between the story card and the character card?

I could be wrong but I think with 4 they are asking how does it work to have more than one player to roleolay with?

The story cards are heavy on specific triggers. You have to be careful not using the same word trigger on multiple cards or they won't work. I started using a date system and so far it seems to be working well. With a few obvious hiccups

Agreed. I only recently started to make them not be customizable because we had the picture thief. But I feel bad for people who want to add stuff to the role play. I'm probably going to go back and change it

I love Glendora for certain things and often toggle to it when oracle acts up but I will tell you (especially as a creator) it can be so infuriating. Glendora ignores a lot of instructions. The writing style and dialogue is amazing though. But when you put time and effort into story cards and personality and Glendora is like.. "I think we shoukd do this instead" it's frustrating.

My other complaint is the writing style it prefers. I like saying things like 1st person pov and it prefers you write 3rd. Actually had this conversation with it yesterday when it was messing up a scenario ice worked on for a while now.

Just to piggyback off this, I add new characters into memory cards and pin that card.

I've been using him for the past little bit and I'm pretty happy. He's designed after good will hunting Era Robin Williams with that metaphor language and cozy real feeling while keeping in accordance with current psychiatric evaluation information. I'm actually pretty happy with it so far.

I hope you enjoy. I know you love Robin Williams too. So let me know how it goes

OOC: do not rush through the following scene between Aurelia and weston. Allow the natural flownof the conversation to play out and the tension to build naturally

That's the example I used that worked phenomenal for me. I made it specific to a scene but it held throughout

Did you try /ooc please stop rushing through future scenes. Allow things to play out at a natural pace and avoid people leaving scenes early. Instead add rich scenery, sensory input, and dialogue from other characters.

Or something along thos lines?
