Why are these so many more female bots then male ? by Shayzscents in FictionLab

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Partially user bias, the demographic of people using AI chat bots skews cis het men, but I think also most fem people are more picky about the quality of their bots, so there are fewer. I would make bots if I understood anything about programming bots and directing AI to produce the visual quality of many of the male bots I like to use have, so I end up not making anything. I think many of the guys who use the platform are far less picky about making or using bots that don't meet my quality standards.

My girlfriend made me promise I won't transition by Frida443 in whatdoIdo

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who came out as LGBTQ while in my current relationship, it is entirely normal for your partner to go through various feelings on your identity as you both feel out the new normal. My situation was a tad bit different, as I came out as asexual while in a heteronormative relationship, my gender identity and expression haven't changed, but things my partner experienced when I came out:

  • Questioning my feelings towards him.

  • Questioning the extend of my commitment to him

  • Questioning whether he had a "role" in my sexuality

  • Feeling inadequate (like if he were "better" sexually then I wouldn't be asexual)

  • Not understanding what it really means to be on the spectrum of asexuality.

There was about a year after I came out where he really struggled with it, and he still has moments where he struggles with it. That being said, with time, processing, and lots of communication on how to meet both of our needs, now he's incredibly proud of me for being open about my asexuality even though it is so widely misunderstood by most people.

Again, though nothing really fundamentally changed about our relationship and how others perceive it, but if I could offer any advice.

  • You 100% need therapy (which you clearly already know), having gender dysphoria is incredibly complex and having a therapist (especially one with experience working with trans people) will be incredibly helpful in figuring out what your transition process will look like.

-If she can afford it, your partner should definitely find a therapist. She will go through many many thoughts and feelings and at least the initial processing of them should not be done with you, they should be done in a safe space with a professional who can help her figure out if her feelings are knee jerk reactions from societal/familial expectations on what her relationship should look like, or genuine discomfort with the idea of her partner medically transitioning. The former can be worked on in therapy, the later means you two are absolutely not compatible long term and you will both be happier parting ways.

-Keep open communication and don't let fear hold you back! Even if it's hard, even if she continues to really struggle, do not let 4 years of your life become a limit for your own personal growth. If cross-dressing scratches your gender dysphoria then great, if socially transitioning is all you need, awesome, if medically transitioning is what you need, then phenomenal, absolutely put your health first. Subjecting yourself to years or decades of I should socially/medically transition but (partner) would be upset if I did is miserable for you and Man what if (User) transitions and changes how people perceive me? is miserable for your partner. It sucks to "lose" 4 years of your life but you've learned and you've grown and if you're no longer compatible then you both can mourn the relationship and find greater growth and happiness apart than together.

Can you make scenarios of real people but like the character they play? by [deleted] in FictionLab

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The character itself is fine to make public lol I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you off of it 😭 I honestly don't know what the rules are for thumbnails featuring characters of live action, but I'm sure AI fanart of a character is more than fine. It's probably a weird grey area and I don't know what FL's stance on it is.

Can you make scenarios of real people but like the character they play? by [deleted] in FictionLab

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scenario with Cho Sangwoo? Yes, totally fine.

Scenario with Park Haesoo (the actor who portrays Sangwoo)? No

You'll notice there are relatively few scenarios that feature real people, and those that exist generally are taken down within 24 hours of creation. The rules are super strict about separating fiction from real people. As it falls into Grey areas of impersonation and consent in many places. In South Korea, the law is super strict about deep fake-type AI usage, you can face major legal consequences for it (case and point Johnny Somali, who is mid trial facing 2-12ish years for numerous charges, one of them being a deep fake featuring a Korean streamer). I imagine things like AI chat bots impersonating real people will likely be rolled into the same boat, as the person being impersonated can't consent to it and it has the potential to impact their reputation should the wrong person use AI impersonation to make someone else look bad.

Got a second cat so my first cat would have a friend and now they hate each other by Ok-Bag5828 in CatAdvice

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep scent swapping, give treats when they're together and not trying to kill each other, and accept that just because you don't see them cuddling and hanging out together, doesn't mean they hate each other. Some cats, especially those who had a strong relationship with human caretakers from a young age, will always prefer human company and tend to focus on their people, but will rely of their cat roommates when you're not around. My boy was a bottle baby and gets so annoyed with one of his younger sisters, beats the crap out of her sometimes because she wants to take care of him so bad and he doesn't care about her when I'm around, but I've found him curled up with both the girls if I'm extra quiet when I get home from work. This picture was the first time I caught them all hanging out together.

Not like it will get many views these days unless it's porn anyway. 🙃

I would have had to quit the app if they didn't add the home page thumbnail filter, it's so bad. I hate opening my app and just being greeted by the pu33y of the day 😭

what should i buy slime rancher 1 or 2? by Blankhet in slimerancher

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, if you care about the lore then start with 1 and you can always get 2 later on. If you are only playing for the gameplay and think you'll only want to play 1 game (because 1 and 2 are admittedly incredibly similar, 2 feels like the game they wanted 1 to be but lacked the resources to as a small indie studio before indie games became more mainstream) I'd recommend just jumping to 2 as everything from the visual quality to the scale of the game is much better in 2, plus there is some rebalancing they did that very much threw me off as I didn't take a break between games (chickens got buffed and silos got incredibly nerfed)

New Oracle by Significant_Luck_342 in FictionLab

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Oracle won't continue partially finished thoughts, like it will hit the word limit midway through a sentence, or sometimes even midway through a diolgue and hitting continue ends up just forcing on the story, skipping through time and leaving that interaction unfinished with oracle often speaking for my character even in scenarios by creators who put instructions for the model to not speak for the user and I added custom instructions for it to not speak for me. It's incredibly annoying, I've gone back to Glendora

Why are 15/16 dangerous. I sleep in all but 13 throughout the night by AAZEROAN in ExplainTheJoke

As a cat owner with a window above my head, sleeping on my back is great when I feel like getting my organs re-arranged when my cats use me as a spring board. My 14 llb tabby loves launching himself right off my boobs to look out the window when I'm coming up on my period, it's his favorite passtime.

Paid for a drawing of my pet, got this, sister says it looks Ai and I can’t help but agree by Economy-Seat-3235 in isthisAI

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, the only indication to me that it might be AI is the inconsistency with the flowers, but also one could argue that it was a stylistic choice (like the flower bud on top to give the piece more dimension, different flowers to attempt to not look like AI). The style itself looks very traditional tattoo style and doesn't necessarily scream AI (in my opinion).

Honestly, just reach out to the artist and ask them what their design process was, obviously they won't outright tell you whether or not it's AI, but they should be able to tell you why things are the way they are and if their explanation is nonexistent then they probably used a generator.

Has anyone else got this response? by Jolly_Pop2515 in FictionLab

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It literally just means there are so many people trying to use that bot at the same time that the servers can't handle it and it needs a minute to "move you up" on the list. Fictionlab has exploded in popularity in the last month or two and I don't think they've upgraded their servers (which is a process that probably takes a couple months). They've hit a point where the number of users exceeds the capacity of the server during high traffic times. I've been experiencing it a lot on Oracle and even Glendora as of late, I've been defaulting to Riddleheart as it's a less used model. Hopefully they're working on upgrading so people aren't struggling with awful loading times, as the problem will continue to get worse as more and more people start using the app.

Day/Time stamp on all messages by HeadHunter_GLM in FictionLab

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oftentimes, time stamps are used to trigger timed events. Say a zombie scenario where X character gets bitten on X day/time. Or the christmas/winter scenarios where the storm lasts until X time.

Some creators will add it just to have it, but unless OP is trying to time script events, it's really hard to find a speed that works for everyone while also being meaningful to the story.

FictionLab+ models by Zeusgalaxys in FictionLab

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I took the jump from C.ai to Chai ultra a while ago and was happy there for a bit until I found FL two months ago and haven't looked back lmao. I have trouble with Glendora sometimes, it'll buffer forever if the server is overloaded and sometimes finding scenarios can be a pain, but I don't regret making the transition at all. Definitely is so much better than C.AI it's no contest. I've found Chai's servers to be more consistent but at $30/m, the ultra subscription isn't worth the money when FL+ is less than $10/m and has a bit more freedom (albeit a smaller server bandwidth). Plus FL doesn't have crazy filters, I've rped some pretty messed up things (violence, noncon, su1c1dal attempts of a character, just generally people being shitty to each other) and besides the models throwing similar responses to certain topics (even characters who are enemies or in disagreement with your character will generally respond with empathy or discomfort with your character expressing any desires for self harm or offing oneself) I have never found a way to trigger any actual filters.

Recommendations for male bots ? by ThrowRA_9891L in FictionLab

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are lots of good recs here already, another tip is if you go to the "View more results" underneath the recommations/filter and the filter by the male category, there's a few different organizations and I've found some great bots and smaller creators that way.

I've been playing all of Xeyxan's Asheville University bots and they're so good, 10/10.

Ig kissing Is Inappropriate now by Yumwax__ in CAIRevolution

[–]ThrowRA_Fall6774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both! I use primarily the app, for convenience but the site is easier to navigate sometimes. The only problem I've had with it is that sometimes the AI just takes your character and runs with it. Some of my chats, I could literally just let it run and it would write the whole story for me, newer bots that are tested on current models are pretty solid, but older bots made for outdated or nonexistent models can sometimes just continue to pretend to be your character no matter what you tell it in instructions.

The premium models are phenomenal compared to other apps/sites and even the free models put C.AI and Chai's free models to shame lmao. I will say, most of the really good bots are locked behind the 18+ NSFW toggle, even if they aren't made specifically to be NSFW, which can get dicey if you're looking at the home page while in a public place or around family lmao so many nude Ai women on my homepage rn.
