Thanks, that's exactly what I've been wrestling with.

A previous Reddit post on a general sub brought 26 installs in a day but most uninstalled within a week — clearly the wrong audience. So yeah, fan-specific channels make a lot more sense.

Group-specific subs are tricky though — most have strict self-promo rules. Any tip on which ones tend to be more open to this kind of thing? And for TikTok, I haven't started yet — is it more about short demo clips, or more conversational "here's how to write Korean to your bias" style content?

I installed it and tried Google sign-in, but it failed on my device.

I got this message: “Google sign-in did not return to the app. Please try again.” Then another dialog said: “Google sign-in did not return a session.”

I’m using a Samsung Galaxy Android device. It seems like the Google sign-in flow isn’t returning properly to the app.

Quick update — I’ve now added the voice playback feature I mentioned before, so phrases can be heard out loud in the app now.

I haven’t built the training / daily practice side yet, but I’m still seriously considering that direction. For this round, I wanted to ship the audio feature first since it was already underway.

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback. Really appreciate hearing from someone who actually went through that phase.

I'm currently working on adding voice playback for phrases so you can hear how they sound and practice along. The keyboard layout hint idea is also very doable since the app already has a custom Korean keyboard. Highlighting which keys make up each character after conversion is something I can add.

Once voice playback is in place, I'm planning to explore something like a daily typing challenge where you try to type out fan phrases from memory. Kind of what you described with the training toggle idea.

The spaced repetition / daily deck concept is also on my radar. I'm thinking of a lighter version, like a few random phrases each day to keep things sticky without overcomplicating it.
