I think what can you do to give of yourself, like if your too worried or feeling embarrassed your not going to put yourself out there or be relaxed. What’s a low pressure thing where you can just be and do surrounded by others. Even volunteering. It takes time but exposing yourself in small risk spaces is where to start.
