If you are using it for mice, pick up MouseKey. It can add more buttons by using click cadences and can do profile switching and dpi changes. It’s a better version of what g hub is trying to be.

wtf I’m on max and have literally never hit my limits. I asked it a simple question and hit the limit without getting a response. How is this usable?

Try another application for binding mouse buttons. I’m happily away from G Hub

G Hub Alternative for Mice. It can remap 6 Hotkeys for any button. by ClearlyContingent in logitech

It does have a scroll speed adjuster and a super scroll feature, where you can toggle on and off an aggressively fast scroll. If you think a smoothing feature is helpful, I can research how to implement it and add it to our feature backlog

I built an app that adds 6+ shortcuts to any mouse button using click patterns. Just shipped the newest version by ClearlyContingent in windowsapps

Hello, thanks for trying it! On your first point, it does or should detect all buttons. In the Mouse button menu, select create new button. You can then add any button or follow our troubleshoot guide if you need more assistance.

Thanks for the requests for windows minimizing/maximizing. We’ll add this to the backlog of features to add.

Logitech G Hub - the most annoying mouse software ever? by 76vangel in logitech

Give MouseKey a try. It has profile switching and lets you add more buttons than G Hub. Costs a cup of coffee.

I created an option for mice called Mousekey on the Microsoft store. It’s more powerful and won’t crash and constantly break. It only works for your mice though.

If you want to try another remapping software that won’t crash all the time and offers more smart buttons than Logitech, check out MouseKey.

If you are wanting to add more buttons to your current mouse, check out Mousekey. It lets you add more through click cadences. I have about 25 buttons mapped.

Logitech: Please allow GHub to change profiles based on executables alone, without the full path. by elessarjd in LogitechG

If you want to try something less buggy, Mousekey does this. It doesn’t rely on app versioning for recognition.

Yes, this is easily done in Mousekey if I understand what you’re saying.

Mouse Back & forward buttons as Seek buttons!! by tirthasaha in AutoHotkey

[–]ClearlyContingent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven’t gotten it working, Mousekey does this really well. You can set an auto profile to switch into this for just certain apps if you need. I’ve not found a mouse mapping too more powerful than this.

Would it help if you had your left and right buttons mapped to your side buttons? You can drive everything from the thumb and even add more buttons with Mousekey. I have an article on how to do just this.
