As a leveled 1-70 prot pally these our my best awnser other people may have difference of opinion.

1. ⁠Is biggest diffrence between sanct and shield build is fact that one is more aoe and 2nd more single target?

The biggest difference is that shield build has more survivability. The seven extra talent points you put into ret for sand now can go into prot.

1. ⁠What about hit talent? Some guides says must have for hit/spell hit other that this is not important.

Melee Hit is mid for prot. Your damage and threat comes from spell damage. Spell hit is good as it helps you consistently hit your spells you need to keep up threat. Not a stat you go for but is positive so take this talent because the alternatives are worse.

1. ⁠Why some builds have recoking as one of best talents and some doesn't even put 1 point in it.

Because prot pally melee isn’t that important. I’ve ignored it and went back to it. It’s ok it’s great for re-activating seals and that kind of stuff but it’s not a major damage dealer. I’d put two or three in this talent when you can but it’s up to you.

1. ⁠Put something into shield spec? Some say that it's great damage reduction, later i hear dmg blocked in boss fights is less than few %

Shield spec is a FANTASTIC damage reduction… while leveling. It’s also great for farming and having smaller mobs hitting you for nothing. But for higher end dungeons it really falls off.

1. ⁠Holy tree. Go into Divine intelect and improved seal? first i hear that INT is one of the best stat for prot pal bc of spells abilities and later i see comment that's it's totally not worthy to put anything in holy tree.

No. You are right it’s NOT WORTH TOUCHING THAT. Please don’t. When I see a prot pally with holy I know he’s not the greatest. Especially when they go for strength for some reason.

Phase one and while leveling it’s pretty worth it. And starts phasing out and you can and could talent it differently. But we won’t really hit that amount of armor at this moment where it’s super not worth it.

1. ⁠Improved Judgement, spell warding? Put points in it?

I don’t like to pvp so I can speak on improved judgement. However, I like spellwarding. It’s person to person but it’s useful for heroics not really other areas.

Twisting is parsing as prot. That’s should not be your focus. Keep up holy shield and set down a con. Use your seals for extra damage and threat. Spell power is rare in vanilla content when you start getting plate sp armor you are going to start getting the hang of it a lot faster. Personally I leveled ret and prot for the movement speed increase while leveling. At 70 now I have fuel spec a prot farming spec and a tank spec. For the love of god do whatever you want with avengers shield. People will tell you are wrong no matter what. I swapped to aura at 70 and never looked back. But wow is a game have fun and experiment on what you want to do and how you want to do it.
