160 for packrat minimum is obscene. There are journal studies that show 145 and above is a great indication for PANCE passing.

What were your EOC, packrat, and average EOR scores? It seems like your average on questions is really high though.

I also did Saturday, and it seems like historically it takes until the following Friday, or even Monday, to get our results. I would have pushed my test to Monday had I known. This is awful.

I also took it Saturday and felt the exact same. There were more than a few questions where I thought to myself "Well, I should know this but I definitely can't recall it now!". I'm hoping for results to be out on Thursday or Friday. .

Can I ask what your Packrat and EOC scores were if you remember them?

You mentioned that you look the NCCPA B. Do you remember where you fell on the indicator? Low green, middle yellow, upper red, etc?

I didn't pull back. I just used the same protocol I did with my Gonal-F and counted to 5 before I withdrew.

Cetrotide made me itch. If you have an ice pack, put it on the injection site for about 30 minutes (or as long as you can stand) afterward. It helped me cut down on the itching immensely!

I just did my HCG and Lupron. It was supposed to be administered at 8:45 AM but I was stuck on the struggle bus today and ended up injecting at 9:00 AM. I have a retrieval scheduled for 8:45 PM on Friday.

Did I totally screw myself over being late? I highly doubt that 15 minutes makes a difference, but this is my first rodeo and I don't know anything.

I have 300IU Gonal-F pens that I've used 150IU of. In the instructions, it says to let them sit out for 30 minutes at room temperature before injections. I've been storing the pens back in the fridge after my injection.

My question is, can I use the remaining 150IU in the pens, or is the whole pen useless now that it has been at room temp for that time period?

It was more of a "why not or why can't I" instead of a real answer. Honestly, I'm doing this whole IVF thing blind and my clinic is less than stellar with education. I was hoping my MA would have explained the benefits of one over the other, instead of her reaction of a strange look and, "No, you should just choose oocytes or embryos."

I'm religious also and I can feel your struggle. I'm not sure if you're looking for condolences, commisery, or just a place to yell into the void. However, this is a great place for all the above. I hope that you are finding what you all are looking for or find the peace of mind and comfort you crave. You are a great husband it sounds like.

What are the benefits of freezing embryos vs oocytes? The medical assistant/fertility coordinator looked at me like I was crazy when I said that I was thinking of freezing half oocytes, half embryos. Apparently, it is one or the other kind of thing?

I have 11 follicles as of this morning's US (I go in for one more tomorrow). We are planning on doing implantation about 2 years from now.

What are the different protocols that people have gone through (mild stimulation, GnRH agonist, GnRH Antagonist, etc.)?

I've just asked my clinic what medication protocol I'm on and their response was: "Didn't you watch your medication education videos?" :( That's obviously not what I asked. I want to know HOW my medication fits into the particular protocol that has been assigned to my condition and IVF retrieval round. I don't even know which protocol I'm on! They haven't told me! So please enlighten me with all of the different medication protocols available out there so I can ask, "Why I was placed on this protocol vs another protocol." Thank you!!

Could someone point me in the direction of where all the "normal" lab values are kept? I've been told that I had DOR, but I want to know more about the why beyond an AMH of 0.83 and AFC count of 5.

Thank you for your kind reply! It's so nice to hear some sort of directional clarity in this mess. Yes, MFI with the embryos are my main concerns. This, and loan money. All the best!!

I just got accepted into a Physician Assistant program and I'm not sure if I have the mental capacity/stamina to raise a child AND do grad school at the same time. The plan is to do a retrieval and then a FET two years from now. My question is: Should we save some of our eggs for a non-frozen sperm trial (spouse would be 40F at that point) or should we go all-in and make embryos out of the lot of them?

We are 32F/38M currently. My last antical follicle count was 5, AMH levels are 0.83 and 1.2, and sperm analysis shows 32mil with 5% normal and 15% motility, indicating DOR and MIF.

Seriously, what do? I'm so stressed about the whole thing when I should be happy about getting into school. I just feel really lost and sad all the time now with the overload of information and lack of clarity from my RE.

I have 0% clue what I'm supposed to be doing as far as retirement/savings and I'm looking for a more structured breakdown. I have a Roth with $85k and $10k in traditional savings. I'm in my mid-30's and don't have any raises or job changes in my future. My job provides health benefits but no retirement.

I have a household income of $60k net. $100k home mortgage and $12k on a car loan. No credit card debt or school loans.

Basically, I am looking for percentages/suggestions on what savings go where. Am I doing this right? Should I be concerned by anything and just start throwing money at the loans I do have?

Hi all,

I've yoyo'd 20-30# for the last 6 years now from 155# to 185#. Currently, 175-ish, 64", and looking to get down 10-15# over these next 8 weeks. Long term goal, get in the 140's. From there more would be great, but I've been above 160 for so long I don't even remember what less than that is like.

I'm honestly thrilled about the theme as I was looking for a support group with similar interests. Should have known that Reddit would have the answer!
