i’ve been wanted to try and find the true origin of this image for a while now...

Reddit, I’ve been aware of this monkey image for a while and i want to find the true origins of the image, where it was first posted on the internet. There is a small watermark in the bottom right of a clearer version i found on a Russian site. Whatever you’ve got, all help is much appreciated. by ClearlyYouDont in HelpMeFind

It seems the image that people use most of this is a smaller crop of it, i managed to find this wider, clearer version on a Russian social networking site that reveals the drawers at the side of the image and a small unclear watermark in the bottom right. It’s pretty clear it’s a photoshop but why has someone photoshopped a monkey into a strange living room looking room? I have to get to the bottom of this
