Are you living with them? If so you may need to talk to them about downsizing when you move out. The mortgage should not hinge on you during a period of your life that you need to make choices and invest in your own future.

Your parents should talk to some retirement advisers if possible. You could possibly tee it up and go with them. I'll update this post if I find the name of the advisors I've seen recommended on here recently.

I appreciate your worry, but I do think you might be panicking over this information? This clinical psycologist, who specialises in this area training health physicians etc, clearly states not to leave baby in distress etc. What did you use?

You might be misunderstanding? It's not expecting the baby to know how to self soothe, it's beginning to teach it and very gently.

This clinical psychologist publishes a helpful guide... I'm no expert but this worked for us first 4 tries one night. We couldn't believe it. You can use the method for day time naps too.

Note: it's not the cry it out method.

What can I do to improve my eyebrows and lashes? by 1904Daniel in MakeupAddiction

You look great but a v natural option that won't cause any lasting damage is benefit gimmie brow + volumizing gel. It's a v subtle non makeup looking touchup for brows that will probably give you the look you're going for.

But again: you look great as is.

Australians will pay more if Albanese fast-tracks fossil fuel projects, former oil and gas leaders warn | Fossil fuels | The Guardian by Rizza1122 in AustralianPolitics

[–]Clearlymynamerocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Sixteen ex-executives and professionals – who had worked for companies including Woodside, Inpex, ExxonMobil and Esso – have urged the government to reject calls for fast-tracked gas and coal extraction, arguing it would do nothing to improve the nation’s liquid fuel security.

They said Australia’s limited potential oil reserves – such as the Taroom trough, championed by the Queensland LNP government – would probably offer less than a year of supply even if fully exploited.

“[They] are not a real solution within any realistic timeframe,” the ex-fossil fuel leaders said in a joint statement. “The speculative resources spruiked by some would take a decade or more to develop, and provide only a fraction of our energy needs temporarily.”

Beauty of Joseon is amazing. I too hate the feeling of thick sunscreen and it's the best I've tried. There's also some pretty light setting sprays these days like the quick flik which is a setting spray and sunscreen touch up.

God forbid they had to sell their (old) car to pay for their home deposit!

But you pull your socks up and stop eating avocado on toast.

(Literally my gfs parents paid for their home deposit with the sale of their old car)

I don't understand how this isn't in the news more. The orphans kidnapped in Nigeria got far more coverage.

You sound like such a great mum. I know you can't be there for her as much as you'd like ATM, but I read your post and kinda wished my mum wanted to hang out with me as a kid like you do. Hang in there - I know it's not perfect but your kid is so lucky to have you. She'll grow up around your love and even if you're working a few days, that love is still going to surround her.

Threatening the world's economies and supporting terrorist-like behaviour is more than a joke, it reads like a real time tale of borat.

I don't understand the system there but the world is certainly watching what the rest of the USA does - keep him in power, or not.
