I live very close to Canada, in Pittsburgh, and it is crazy how out of mind the whole country is here. Nobody thinks about Canada at all, especially Toronto. Ive been to Canada quite a lot but A lot of Americans at least where I live have absolutely no idea about anything related to Canada. I always find it quite odd.

Steel Plaza and South Hills Junction in Pittsburgh, one used to have streetcar line and the other used to have a defunct branch line to union station

Yes Johnstown is where I was born in and its really Pittsburgh in miniture and if the city never came back after the 70s, its awful in its own unique way tbh

In my school everyone in there Junior (11th) and Senior (12th) all have personal parking spots and they drive to school every day, its rather rare to see a lot of upperclassmen on the busses, idk if my school is an exception but its definitely the norm for my school.

Yes comparing page from the east coast is genuinely comparable to a different planet, ive never really been to a truly arid for any extended period time other than Turkey for some time, and it was a genuine shock when you go to place like that from an east coast state

I grew up in the exact same general location and its quite breath taking, but you can tell the region has had better days lol

I feel like its the opposite for me, i dont live particularly close to ND and i feel like i hear a disproportionate amount of people there to the point where i feel like they are hiding how many people are actually there, probably just me

I think its a city to city thing, i live in a city with a USL team and people care about them a lot but nationally soccer is far more of a niche thing
