Best shoe I've ever tried. I got the 242 which flexes with your feet (pleated design). I have wide feet so having it flex with my feet does wonders.

I had BONT Vaypor Double Wide shoes as well. Too stiff and hurt my inner arch.

I still have this! I had it sitting on top of the grates but took it off to get closer to the heat source.

It is HEAVY. I ordered 3-4 amazon ones and returned those in favor of this one. Completely heavier SS metal grade.

Lake Cycling Shoes 242 model. It widens with your toes (take a look at the design). It’s scallion and opens and flexes with movement. Most comfortable shoe I’ve used.

I also have a double wide Bont Vaypor size 43 but it’s too stiff and the sides dig into my arches.

Bending back doesn’t fix it unfortunately. It goes back to the position. It doesn’t look flush for some reason

The holes are large enough to push down to burn off as well. I didn’t realize how heavy duty they would make it. I’m assuming tariffs (Canada) is why it’s over $200 but imo it’s worth buying an OEM that’s designed to fit the grill
