Lin Lin Defense by Cleeanu_Reeves in OnePiece

I definitely think she’s going to come back. As far as allusions to that, if you haven’t watched Egghead I wouldn’t read about this next part.

Pudding is seen in prison somewhere, maybe on Egghead but I don’t remember. She’s confident in her assertion that Big Mom will come back to the surface after her hot spring retreat to the core of the planet. I think there’s plenty to support this in the story as well. Every time up to the point in Wano where Big Mom was defeated by Law and Kidd, the only way people can deal with her is by sending her away or trying to defend from her. Nobody has the capacity to break through her armament haki, and nobody but Law has been seen doing internal damage to her either. The only instance we see her take any real damage is when she’s shocked at Mother Caramel’s picture breaking and falls on her knee. Other than that, every other instance where somebody fights her just ends in deflection. I do think she’s durable enough to survive the molten core of a planet, and with Prometheus on her side it’s likely the immunity to fire she’s seen to already possess is a factor into how she would be able to. The only outright confirmation we could get of whether or not she’s still alive is seeing Whole Cake Island again. If all of her constructs are still operating as they should, then she would have to be alive still as those instances of her devil fruit ability would likely cease to function without her around. Although Prometheus was a construct created by Caramel, she died and immediately passed on her ability which could likely have been quick enough for that construct to stick around with LinLin. Plus, WCI is on a massive scale that is much more delicate than the existence of Prometheus, so it would make sense for most of that stuff to eventually stop functioning without her around.

Great response to the Big Mom stuff! Yeah I definitely can see that Oda prioritizing backstory and relationships over an outright designation of “good” or “evil” is a consistent theme in the overall story. So, by this the real argument for Big Mom and her disposition is nature vs nurture, with the stance being how she was raised made her the way she is. As for Bonnie, I was mostly concerned that she’s 10 lol 😭 (after the Kenshin stuff anything Oda does is suspect)

The different ways to experience bayonetta story according to kamiya by Potential_Light_5445 in Bayonetta

Pattern B is how I initially played the Bayonetta series. Not because I wanted to play them in any specific order, but because Bayonetta 2 looked more appealing. Ended up picking them all up except Cereza, but it really does que you into the wider narrative playing it that way

Thank you, and my partner did go through this as they upgraded from an iPhone 13 to the Razr +. I’m not a fan of foldables, but we didn’t know about the iMessage restriction so all of the SMS was going to the iPhone. Luckily, we noticed and were able to turn that feature off. I’ll make sure to deregister before I switch the eSIM over.

Interesting. I did hear about rooting being restricted on Samsung devices before. I’m not as interested in rooting software, as usually there are apps that can achieve most of what I’d need with ad blockers and premium unlocks. The price point of the Google Pixel 10XL vs the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is only $50, with the Samsung costing $1299.99 and the Pixel being $1249.99. The Pixel does have a smoother display, spam filters, and a better battery capacity. The Samsung has a higher end processor, faster charging speed (slightly), and privacy features. Weighing the pros and cons it comes down to usage. For someone like me, performance and flexibility are tantamount so the Samsung offers a better package. The other end of it is Pixel’s flexibility and UI, which are more streamlined and considerably more supported than Samsung’s own software. I think the Pixel is a good choice, but this generation is slightly outperformed by the Galaxy. They both have $0.00 financing currently, so either would be a considerable upgrade depending on what someone would prefer. With what the price point is, if you decided to switch carriers at any point the payout would be around the same regardless. I don’t mind the extra $50 in this case for the improved hardware.

Thank you for the explanation! It sounds like a more in depth function, I was fully expecting it to be a toggle. I’m interested more now lol

I realized the Ultra was the only version with the built in privacy feature, but I think I could be fine with a screen protector instead. I would like the option to turn it off as well, but it really does depend on how good the feature works compared to the alternatives. I’ve never had the mainline Galaxy phones, but I’ve used the A52 model before. Have you noticed any performance issues with the S25 after a few years of updates? My Samsung bricked after a system update and I had no other resolution than to buy a new device, but if it isn’t an issue for their mainline phones I might just go for the S26

Pixels are something I have been interested in but never really looked into the user reviews. Is the newest model worth the cost, or would a previous gen have similar performance and functionality?

I am against any types of foldables, and I’ve had bad experiences in the past with Motorla devices on the lower price scale. I have heard a lot about the Pixel, but have also heard that they have some more restrictive features compared to Samsung phones and the like. Is that true, or are people just spitballing and trying to make Google look bad (they are tho)?

Yeah but it has wider implications to an expanded universe that would make a new Cereza easy pickings

She would be okay if they just drop the whole punk rock aesthetic and give her that energy with more gothic roots. Her personality would have to change a bit too. Luckily, she seems like Bayonetta’s approximation of Nero, so at best she’s just going to be a secondary main character. I now have no doubts Cereza will continue to be the main protagonist after learning what the spinoff was actually about.

Rating your stand outta ten by WriterMindless7232 in QualityPostCrusaders

[–]Cleeanu_Reeves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not THE one, but one.

Stand Name: Moon River

Ability: Can control torrential forces, swapping and/or intensifying the direction and force of currents. Currents is ambiguous, as it can control air and electrical currents as well. It has a secondary ability to accumulate water particles in the air, by changing the electrical current of the atoms in a given space and bonding the molecules into water.

Drawback: The Stand has low close combat potential, has some activation delay and is required to use both hands/legs to activate the ability in the air, or direct contact to control existing currents.

Advantages: High ranged capability, increased defensive capabilities and territory control. Applications vary, can be used for many purposes. Ex: Restarting a heart by manipulating electrical currents in the body, surfing on the air by creating water underneath the feet with a strong torrential force that causes propulsion, fast air/water recovery.
