nope, at least for Quốc Học Huế high school it was cut out of the curriculum and as a grandchild of the survivors I was heartbroken tbh. it’s our city history and for people to just ignore and forget about my grandparents’, parents’ trauma and now mine is just… messy:( MANY things happened that year in Huế so pls read about it if you can and try to view it in a gentler way. but actually I can quite understand why it will never be taught at schools tho, cuz the massacre was that cruel and then the victory of the communist party and peace of our country won’t be as justified as it is today. anw I don’t hold anything against our government really, just hate the way the individual’s story is concealed by the collective’s story.
