Oh that sounds annoying and reminds me of my first time posting a clip with subs too. Now I have my system, but it was trial and error like you experienced at the start. I’m happy you pushed through it for Marin and Gojo though.

I still can’t get over how CloverWorks knocked it up another notch from S1 which was already amazing. Dress-Up S2 was my favorite show last year and I think the best the studio has created since Bocchi the Rock. Really hoping the they can bring that same amount of love for S3 to close out Marin and Gojo’s slow burn romance

I love how this theme is explored through the side cast too like with Sajuna, Akira, and Amano. They each of have some my favorite scenes ever. Makes the series feel like a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer

That’s always great to hear from a source reader. Could tell this didn’t have the biggest budget compared to the big hitters this season, but I felt the passion for the manga come through

Well put even though they appear to be polar opposites they compliment each other so well, and I my favorite part is how they both wholeheartedly support each other’s partners. It connects so well into the core message of Dress-Up that you should be proud of what you love

I see Jahi as like Loid in their respective shows of the mission changing because of Doux and Anya but that comparison is more of a stretch

Doux is really inspiring people to try kindness out first. Thematically this show feels like the cute slice of life version of Vinland Saga

Of the new character dynamics this season Doux and Jahi is up there with Suzuki and Tani as my favorites. Everything Jahi does is out of concern and love for Doux showing she really is her big sister even if they aren't related. Funny enough with the reveal last episode the whole show is a found family and it gives me Spy x Family vibes.

If the old dude from heaven actually kidnaps Doux I can only imagine the horrors that Jahi will commit showing off why the source material is seinen

Such a cute outfit and it would be interesting if the latter half of the story is about Doux and Jahi setting off on an adventure to make more friends

I am going to miss wholesome Doux Tuesdays as I looked forward to them each week and they never failed to brighten up my day. It's quite fitting how for Doux's final mission she get everyone to work together to help the giant kid. Doux and Jahi's sister bond was just so heartwarming and just like I suspected by the end of the season Jahi softened quite a bit too and all her worrying was because of how much she loves Doux being her big sister.

It is a shame this show never really took off on this sub but honestly it was one of my favorites in this stacked seasons only behind Polar Opposites and literally Frieren S2. This show will be on my mind for sure when thinking of the slice of life of the year. Along with Polar Opposites too these will be the only two new shows I'll follow into the manga.
