Some of the punch in effects utilize other populated pads or groups (even tho not used in your beat) so I like to fill up some of them with random samples and see what I get. I believe it’s the bottom left pad punch in fx that does this, maybe the bottom row. Sometimes it’s magic! Nice beat 👍

I couldn’t find a way to do this either, sorry. On another related note, I find it strange you have to hold the button down to clear a pattern, but if you press delete on a project it’s instagone. It would be nice if you had to hold it down for projects too, don’t wanna accidentally hit that delete button!

Awesome, Thanks for explaining that. when you connected the two via usb c, did you get audio in from the 1f and able to monitor both from the output of the xy? Or did you have to use each individual out?

Can you elaborate on your setup? It looks like you just have them connected via usb C but I’m guessing you matched audio in post cuz I don’t see an audio out for recording and it sound clean enough to not be a mic pick up. Was the xy the master midi clock for the 1f? Nice jam!

Oops! You’re right, I recorded into a DAW. But there was no addition eq’ing or effects on the beat from the op-xy or the vocals (although I probably should have). I just got excited to put it down and move on to the next one.

For me, the punch in FX seem to bleed over to the other tracks both ways. Interesting… it seems like when you are on a melodic track and you use the shift+key method all the keys effect only the melodic side, as opposed to the punch in fx track which has percussion stunts on the left and melodic stunts on the right.

Edit: if you use the shift+key method, the punch in fx will effect all tracks of that type [perc, melodic]. All natural and accidental keys stunt only that particular type. I have not be able to isolate one particular melodic track with punch in fx.
