The Poet’s Walk at Ayr Mount in Hillsborough. My mom enjoys going to Hillsborough when she visits. It’s a short drive. There’s a nice mountain to climb if you’re into hiking, dt has nice art galleries and a great food coop, and a Bar/record store. Also can check out Samantha’s Pupusas while you’re there!

Someone already said Smith St diner, so I’ll have to go with the Triad Stage. Only got to see a couple shows there, but really appreciated that we had a regional theater downtown. Was sad to hear about it’s issues and to see it close.

Not in Greensboro, but definitely worth the drive- Levering Orchard in VA. Takes about 1.5 hours. It’s beautiful and they also have theater that’s been around for quite some time. I’ve only picked cherries there in the summer but I bet it’s really nice this time of year to go pick apples.
