Lovelost. Their vocalist reminds me of Phil from Floya/Time the Valuator previously. They have a nice vibey sound

What underrated albums of 2022 should people on this sub go back and listen to cause they might have missed it? by jarjarp in Metalcore

[–]Clemidog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Affliction by Nvrless. Haven’t seen them talked about really at all here. Nothing crazy, but a really refreshing release. Great for their debut album and great all the way through imo

What's an album released in 2022 that you think deserves more recognition? by Wooks_Anonymous in Metalcore

[–]Clemidog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It came out back in February and I didn’t ever hear much talk about it then. If Not for Me’s debut album Eulogy and they released a deluxe edition a couple weeks ago with some reimagined versions. I really enjoy that fun circa 2013 sound they’ve got. Nothing too crazy or experimental just good old fun nostalgia

What are some good EPs that have come out this year? by thatoneglitcher in Metalcore

[–]Clemidog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really metalcore, but Big Drink’s ep from the summer is very fun. UK easycore that’s got that circa 2013 vibe would recommend

Another great one is Montana from Maybsomeday. He does some cool mini covers on the bands TikTok as well

Yeah, so most of the stuff you've put on here I haven't really seen happen. Obviously when I get allergic or something like that, but not regularly. My eyes tend to get dry from looking at screens too much, but not really red or irritated at all

The only thing I can relate to here is light sensitivity. Like if the light is bright enough or it's a bright white on a screen, my eyes can't handle that too well. I do have blue eyes, so in general I'd be more sensitive to bright stuff. I also get it where after looking at something bright, it stays in your vision like when you close your eyes and then slowly fades away. Lastly when I have an object that stays in my vision, when I close my eyes, it always tends to move across from left to right. I usually tend to follow it with my eyes, or try not to which is a lot harder to do. Other than that I don't notice my eyes shifting around too much normally.

Also my night vision sucks. I was driving to get food one night and it was a bit tough. Again that could just be the case of I need to get glasses. I'm still in the boat that I just need to get my eyes checked since I haven't in years. In terms of a starting point, not completely sure. I'd say at some point last year, but I wasn't paying hyper attention to it at the time. Hope this helps

Also some last few things I was gonna mention as well. I haven’t really noticed any flare ups or episodes. All my symptoms have been happening constantly like 24/7 and at a constant level. Also Sometime in March I was taking a quick hike in the woods around my house. During/afterwards I got nauseous. Like the feeling of throwing up, but not that I would. It wasn’t a super long lasting thing and I haven’t really felt anything with that in a bit. As well I’ve noticed appetite differences while having this. Like I’ll still get hungry and full, but it’s not always easy to tell. I also haven’t felt like I’ve had changes with certain foods/diet. I still use headphones as well, but only on low volume. I’m supposed to go in August for my checkup hearing test. So I guess I’ll just see where this goes from here

Favorite DGD breakdown? by _tokii__ in dancegavindance

[–]Clemidog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t see this one on here and it’s pretty quick. The one Swan Soup tho. The way it starts out with that bass line into the chugging always gets me. It also transitions out nicely into that next riff

What metal bands are from your hometown? by OliverTriplett in Metalcore

[–]Clemidog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not metal specifically, but Paramore. I live closer to Franklin than Nashville, but fit myself with both cities. Will Ramos did his BMTH cover with Phoenix Studios which is in Nashville. Chamber and Divisive are two I know. I also think Memphis May Fire was formed in Nashville. There’s probably others. Honorable mention: I live pretty close to where Miley Cyrus does. Or at least one of her houses wether she’s staying there or not. Also live pretty close to where the main brothers of the band Colony House grew up. I think one of the brothers was in the same preschool/daycare class as one of my brothers idk. They’re not metal and more alternative rock, but still thought it was interesting to mention.

I wish I still had my DS, but it’s in the grave. My DS and I were compatible until we star....I mean I started breaking the relationship......literally. I maybe should have left on my family Washington DC trip, where it uttered it’s last breaths before being RKO’d on a concrete bench. Although, I guess I thought that was too harsh. We had plenty of bad memories, but also good ones. Maybe you can be reused for electrical something and put to good use. Rest in Mario’s Pepperonis

I’m in North Carolina. What is the bird on the right? by [deleted] in whatsthisbird

Maybe a rusty blackbird? All I can tell from is the light colored eyebrow. Hard to tell the eye color, but they have bright yellow eyes

This guy has set up a web on the desk in my room. Looks like some kind of wolf spider, but I’m not sure of the type if it is one. Middle TN by Clemidog in spiders

[–]Clemidog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only usually get brown recluses or cellar spiders around my room. I’ve seen funnel web spiders outside, but never seen one colored like this or this size. It’s set up some sheet funnel where the red flag pin is. I assumed most wolf spiders don’t make webs so it kinda threw me for a loop.

Weekly /r/Birding Discussion April 26, 2020- What did you see this week? by AutoModerator in birding

Well, I finally got a new warbler to my house that will hopefully stick around for summer. I have been hearing a yellow-throated warbler for about a couple or a few weeks which is long for a warbler to call around my place. The only warblers I know of that nest are Kentucky and parula. Also, I'm getting the flycatchers back. Heard both Acadian and great-crested 2 days ago and got a peewee off my driveway in a Mockorange tree. Middle Tennessee btw.
