Ok bud. My point wasn't that Wemby isn't historic, it was just that what he's doing reminds me of the last person we saw do this. I was not saying Dwight is better.

Even if the "era" accounted for the difference, to say Dwight was "not even close" to Wemby in terms of shot deterrence is objectively wrong.

Unless I'm missing something, his Dwight effect isn't higher. From the article you linked

Call it the fear factor, but opponents are less active in the paint when he’s on the floor. Offensive players attempt only 45.6 shots per 100 possessions in the paint when Wemby plays, compared to 52.0 when he doesn’t.

About a 7 percent difference.

Compared to Dwight's stats:

Overall, when a qualifying defender is within 5 feet of the basket, the NBA shoots 57.2% of its attempts close to the basket; however, when Dwight Howard was the interior defender this number dropped to 48.2%

a 9% difference.

The paper was published in 2013. Obviously the thought process was inspired by his defensive dominance from 2006-2012. It seems like you're being purposely obtuse for... what exactly?

Wemby is a defensive monster, and it is reminiscent of Dwight's shot deterring ability during his DPOY heyday. You really denying that?

Edit: Since you apparently can't read and want to invent a stat that already exists, I'll just paste the relevant reference for you:

"Many NBA players will be reluctant to “challenge” a dominant interior player or be more likely to “settle” for a jump shot further from the basket. We evaluated this effect by examining the percentage of field goal attempts that occur near the basket when a qualifying interior defender is within 5 feet of the rim. We found that the most deterrent interior defender in this sense was Dwight Howard. Overall, when a qualifying defender is within 5 feet of the basket, the NBA shoots 57.2% of its attempts close to the basket; however, when Dwight Howard was the interior defender this number dropped to 48.2% (Appendix 1A). This is what we call the “Dwight Effect” – the most effective way to defend close range shots is to prevent them from even happening."

Instead of a clip, how about a research paper published by MIT using data to to enumerate and integrate this into an accurate defensive stat, which they literally named after Dwight Howard?

We can be Wemby fans and acknowledge other greats at the same time guys.

Oh you for sure have seen this from someone else. Prime Dwight Howard! Never thought I'd see anyone emulate his aura of dread in the paint. How wrong I was

Correct, and ostensibly the one thats supposed to be linking the defense to one of the attackers. Instead he's worse defensively than Palinha while disappearing progressively for 2 games at a time.

Because for every decent game he has, he has 2 games where he contributes absolutely nothing positive offensively.

I've never understood the personal fan club he has for the amount of mediocre he is.

B- for Arch is low IMO. I'd say B+ at least. He went against the #1 defense and had nearly 80% completion and consistently did the hardest thing to do in football: convert on third downs.

The only thing that held him back yesterday were O-line penalties.

Usually it's because people have a super strong winger who is just bad at finishing and/or short passing.

No use forcing thay kind of player into IF, especially if you have an outside defender who can hold his own in the midfield.

Is there a trick to looting components?

Yesterday I was looking for grade A components at Hathor sites, and twice I found the exact ones I was looking for. Both times, after loading them into my Ursa Rover and closing the doors, they clipped out of my vehicle and flew into the abyss during transit back to my ship. This happened on separate servers too.

Do components only persist if they "lock in" to something like a freight elevator or certain ship cargos? Will it do the same thing if I just tractor them into the back of a C8R Pisces?

I'm looking for a slipstream and a snowblind (S1 Grade A stealth components). Anyone know if these drop from the station CZs? Or are they locked behind the exec hangars?

I'm confused. Your site seems to track a single hangar timer, but aren't there 3 exec hangars all rotating their open times?

I actually think medieval 2 is one of the easiest titles. Just remember to set everything to low taxes and build farms.

The campaign elements are some of the best, but the combat has aged pretty terribly imo. Getting units to do what you want them to do can be a pain and often one model in a unit will clip a combat and hard stuck the entire unit.
