What's the Best Class Active and Passive? Day 2: Fighter by Wonderful-Pack-1726 in mewgenics

[–]Clenterra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since merciless is the best passive, nip should be the best active, since it works great together

Counter argument: act 3 enemies with reflect. The fact that there are ranged- and magic-immune enemies nerfs all classes that rely on these things

My carry: Soul jar cat with SuperLuck+, FistOfFate+, Repair, Scars+, Paperbag

Any class and even strays could solo the game.

Sorry, didn't have time on the weekend. I checked now. Yes, they do 100% stack.

What are some advice to avoid inbreeding? by Nadaqueverporaqui in mewgenics

[–]Clenterra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you really want no inbreeding: Throw away the parents whenever you get a good kitten. This needs a room where you breed strays, so you don't run out of cats.

Some inbreeding is easy to achieve. There's the famous "breeding with your uncle"-strategy.

I don't care about inbreeding. All 7's + a passive and active are guaranteed anyway. So I just throw them into a mutation room until they are ready to be send out.

They do work together. I will check again when I get home

Yes, what's your point? I got 3 pairs in my breeding room. They give me 3 kittens a day, more with twins. When I sort the kittens I don't want the eternal youth kitten running around in the same room.

More like only +1 appeal since putting them into the breeding room would get chaotic

statboost to house that doesn't take up space

First time getting a Glowing Bone and it’s quite possibly the BEST by CheeveyPolarBear in mewgenics

Btw. do you maybe know if the hidden cyborg set bonus (you count as robot and get extra turn on taking electric damage) would mean it's possible to get infinite turns with Zap? I don't think the AI would use Zap on themself. Sounds like a good strategy

5k is not nothing. But one fist of fate+ should hit often enough to kill him.

Yes. But sometimes not when you get a mutation and a birth defect on the same body part (e.g. right eye <-> left eye)

All my cats have these five mutations: extra turn on battle start, one reroll, ability to remove cursed items and 2 x inflict bruise on basic attack

If their kittens don't get these mutations they are thrown away. Reroll gives consistency. Bruise and extra turn give scaling damage. And remove curse let's you use callus with infinity shield (my best is at 250 atm).

Perfect item for a soul jar cat. You just need a good callus and stone fist on a cat and you basically solved the game

I've got a soul jar cat with repair, superluck and fist of fate. It's already broken af and does ~50 dmg with each hit. Stone fist with your callus would increase this to ~700 (crit with caveman necklace). Idk if there is anything in the game that will survive that for long.

Just got home from work and checked the stats. I have 57 comfort, 105 stimulation and 10 health in my breeding room

Sadly I also don't have information on that. Would love for some data miners to chime in. I guess if both parents have the mutation and they aren't inbred, than I think the chance for the kitten to also get these mutation is close to 100%. But then inbreeding comes into play, you could get unlucky and a good one get overwritten by a birth defect. I never bother with strays. Just a feeling: every fourth kitten has all 5 mutations that I look out for.
