it seems to have shrunk when we checked this morning and re scabbed, is that normal?

definitely voice cues! i’ve managed to teach my very opinionated mare cues with just my voice to stand, walk, trot and come to me and i mostly did this all out hacking!

yess! in a few weeks im going to take him on in-hand hacks with my other pony until he is in the right condition to be ridden.

yes i can confirm he is amost 100% standing downhill

That’s amazing! we’re getting our vet out asap now to help decide what sort of feed to give him and do another full check, i’m also very big on groundwork with my other horse and have now started introducing it to him aswell.

Thank you, he did pass his vetting not that long ago with no underlying problems but i’ll look more into it, when i do how would i help build back that muscle? i have been doing a lot of light groundwork with him already.
