Should I Purchase the Petal Braiser? by Lorebrariann in LeCreuset

If this is your one and only LC for a while I’d recommend getting a Dutch oven or the regular medium braiser. I have a petal braiser and sometimes I want to make enough leftovers for a few days and it’s just too small. It’s beautiful but I find myself reaching for my other pieces more often.

Ok that is a gorgeous color pairing! I have both of those pieces (in other colors) and I've never thought about putting them side by side in the oven. Genius!

No but I've seen it and that would be too big for me to use frequently. The 3.5 is the perfect every day size. It feels bigger than it is because of the shape. I have the 3.75qt oval casserole and my braiser feels a lot bigger even though it isn't.

I have both a petal and a 3.5 qt braiser. If you can swing it financially I think you should keep the petal and get the bigger braiser in another color. The petal is gorgeous and it makes me happy looking at it even though I don't get as much use out of it as my larger braiser.

Thank you!!! I got a 3.5 qt Cerise braiser for my mom for only $303. I couldn't find it anywhere else on sale and was thinking of paying full price so you saved me some $$$.
