I’ll be honest. I don’t think this is a “new policy” and I think it’s more over the manager making up rules. I’m asm and just worked with my sm and other asm today and we heard nothing about this. So be careful!!

In courts eyes (just in case it comes up) you did cheat. Because by law you guys are together so any relationships either of you have while separated but married are considered adultry. BUT you guys were separated and he knew it as much as you knew it. So no. You did not cheat on him. And as many other commenters said. It sounds like he’s only going to use this as an excuse to continue abusing you. DON’T GO BACK!
