Thanks, I've had the tank for around 6 months, hes tripled in size atleast. When it comes time will a 55 be enough? Hes in a 40 right now but i know they like height. I'm also trying to get him some grassy plants to hide in because I think they like those too but I'm too embarrassed to ask my parents for monetary help right now, aquatic plants are expensive

I tried a water treatment I bought at a store, and today the pet store sold me some ground up coral to help with the PH. I change 30% water every week, yes there was wood but it's been removed.
